my character went from 99 to 1
Have you used any sketchy addons/apps recently?
the only addon that i just started useing was Packetflow but dont think that would do it tho
only thing i rly use is gearswap

Have you tried loading the game without that addon? It seemed sketch when I was reading about it..
I wouldn't classify something published by Byrth to be sketchy. Was moreso wondering about more illicit stuff that could've had a keylogger attached or something

no, in game in your status menu, when you click play time, it tells you how much time you've spent on that character
my play time says 3hs
do you know how long you've spent on your character since finding it like this? can determine if maybe someone did delete and remake the character as some are suggesting.
for instance, if you've only spent 1h on your character today, then we know someone was on your character for 2h already before that. but if you've been on for 3h then it doesn't seem as likely that someone else was tampering with it

a couple other ideas i had:
1. if you go to your menu and go to Search, what areas are you able to search?
the only areas you're allowed to search are ones that you've been to. so if you're in Rabao, and you can only search Rabao, that would show that's the only place your character has ever been. but if it can search an opening nation or other areas then that might give some more context
2. what's your title?
I think technically "New Adventurer" is given after watching the opening cutscene, but before the cutscene finishes it's simply "N/A" (that's what it shows if you /check a character while theyre in the opening cutscene), maybe determines if the opening cutscene has been watched from remaking the character?

yeah, and it would have been easiest to start in Bastok, but it looks like (according to your profile) you're Windurstian so that might have been the fastest way there? if starting from Windurst

Have to imagine it took much longer to hoof it thru all those zones than it would've taken to join a few guilds and kill some bees to unlock unity warps. Just really weird but then again so is this whole thing so...
whoever did it was so dedicated they didn't want to leave any trail at all. im guessing having EXP gained and RoE quests started would have been too obvious
idk i just hope se will get back to me tomarrow even if my account was hacked or what ever they should be able to get it back (i hope)

I'd probably change all your information attached to the account and add one then. Idk whether you downloaded something recently or maybe visited a site or something but someone got you somehow.
If you login to your SE Account using your SE ID, the account management page will list the last IPs used to access/login to your account. See if any of those are not familiar.
If you're absolutely certain another person did not mess with your account, you should open a support ticket to SE claiming data loss for your character. I don't know if they'll do a one-time restore to when you had more progress on your character, but it's worth a shot, I guess. :/
