Looks like Kamala Harris is the winner

https://www.cnbc.com/2020/08/11/joe-biden-vp-pick-sen-kamala-harris.html

And it was at this very moment that the election was officially over.

Gona get started refreshing Spanish and filling out those Mexican immigration forms.

Bright side, trump won't have to cancel the election, he can't lose

We've eluded to this a few times across a few threads recently, but polls are 100% useless when speaking your mind is a minefield. The possibility of expressing your opinion on a subject costing you your career or your standing within society does that. Even just being unsure or sceptical, or unsure if you can ask or say something without being branded some kind of monster stops people sharing what they think.

Polls in the current social climate are pointless.

As seen here, people will try anything to discredit polls that don't reflect data they want. At least you guys aren't sharing the fringe alt right polls that nausi loved so much.

Nobody has to discredit polls, they do that all their own. Trump being president in the first place is all the proof that is needed.

It's like asking if you have more evidence of Michael Jordan being one of if not the best NBA player(s) of all time than the 6 Championship rings he has, along with his 6 NBA Finals MVP awards. You don't need another argument.

I'm still very excited that the national precedent was set that you can and sometimes, must, choose people for positions based on their race and gender. Still blows my mind how liberals ignore this, after screaming about what a horrible practice it was the past 30 years.

And no, it's not different.

You should be the last person who places all of their chips on polls.

How did that work for you last election?

It's not racism or sexism if a democrat chooses to select people based on their race and gender. Never mind that has always happened in the history of the democrat party.

Ah yes, the classic response. 2018 went exactly how the polls projected, so fine? There is no evidence to suggest Biden is not the frontrunner right now.

People have been trying to pathetically reference 2016, and will undoubtedly continue that attempt. 2016 was an exception, not a rule. The FBI swung the election to Trump who won by an incredibly narrow margin. Ever since all the right has done is cry about "fake polls."

Ah, I see you read Hillary's book where she explained how it was everyone's fault but her own.

Reading too apparently. And there's is talk about removing history classes from education curriculum too.

Next thing you know, the only classes being taught in public education is how to protest and how to loot/riot.

Every response you give is mixed in insults and conspiracy theory. That's why they never amount to much. Hard to believe you people are still stuck on the, "this is why Trump won" theories, when it's blatantly obvious that the country just grew tired of Obama (our political system is cyclical, after all) and Hillary was simply the worst candidate, all time.

If it's so blatantly obvious, how come it was such a close election? Trump won the EC by what, 130k votes? He barely squeaked by. Its funny you try to claim the country was "tired" of Obama. He would have routed Trump for a third term.

She was a terrible candidate who ran an even worse campaign. Even if you want to blame the FBI for her loss (how dare they do their jobs!), she fact that she ended up in that position in the first place is her own fault.

And yet Trump narrowly won. You're supposed to be the data expert Rav, what's the data saying about the current race? Are all the polls fake? Think people don't respond to polls honestly because they fear losing their jobs? (Lol)

people have lost jobs, been disowned by friends and family for voicing their political opinion ~ so its not hard to fathom that being a real possibility

So about that weak candidate thing I said the other day.

This will get interesting...not as interesting as if it was Susan Rice, but interesting all the same.

"Defund the police! All cops are ***! ....vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris!"

Not sure what he was thinking but ok.

Pretty much impossible to fathom considering polls are conducted in the privacy of one's own home. They aren't anything like voicing your opinion in public.
