Wrong. The Republicans wanted it to be partisan in their favor, with too many bail-outs for the corporations and not enough for the people. The last time the corporations used the funds for stock buybacks, rather than letting it trickle down to the employees which is what should have happened.

Reminder that Pelosi did not "nuke" any deal. At all. There was never a deal. The two sides were never in agreement at any point in the negotiations, nor were they ready to vote. The Republicans started writing the bill way too early and tried to force the Dems into accepting their bad terms. It didn't work. Pelosi had no impact on McConnell's failed tactics.

I expect her and Mnuchin to hammer it out. Thats what happened with Phase 2 and thats what was always going to happen with Phase 3. This was always going to be the result, I said the Senate was just wasting time from the outset. Its the Pelosi/Mnuchin show.
