No it's not, they changed their policy immediately after doing it.

Basically there was too many negative reviews and since Captain Marvel was the best movie ever, those reviews had to be false and thus warranted removal. Of course tons of negative reviews flooded in immediately afterward.

Nobody looks at RT's critical reviews anymore as those are nothing but paid advertisements, it's the audience reviews that tell you if a movie is entertaining or not. Movies for the masses exist as a form of entertainment, so a bad movie can still make money provided it's entertaining.


Case in point, Avatar was filled with SJW "evil white human men" and the plot was crap, but nobody cared because the movie was entertaining. The main actor was actually good, the whole movie was gorgeous to look at and filled with spectacle.
