This place is weird, lots of change in a very small time. California is too expensive now so all the business's are flocking over here causing a huge expansion in an area that was rural farmland about 15 years ago. Not very far from where I'm standing is a road I drive on all the time that has four huge data-centers being built, along with the dozen or so that already exist. Drive west or south and it's very conservative, drive east or north and it's SJW central.

DC itself is ***, a giant tourist trap with really bad traffic. I've been there a few times with the wife after moving here but in general it's not worth going to. Now around DC there are a bunch of cool spots around Arlington and McClean. Go west towards Loudoun county and things get really cool but kinda spaced out. Everything from 495 to 28 acts like a giant spread out city.

There are some really rough ghettos close to the White House which I found kinda sad. The arguably most powerful place in America with some of the poorest people in the world living right next door.
I stood where MLK had a dream and took a nap I thought it would be a good way to remember him !
I enjoyed the WW2 and Lincoln memorial. I hope the next time I go I can put a MAGA hat on Abe Lincoln to piss off some liberals !
