For MS Resolution, what is the ideal ws set?

This is what I was thinking: (Assuming crit damage +4% on legs and hands.)

Is it worth using the mantle/legs since they offer nothing extra, or is the crit dmg + gonna beat out all other options?

I will concede that being miss tolerant on WAR is not as important, however your math is still terrible.
Prove me wrong then.

I'll even give you the formula, but you might wanna start here: Combinations

(.95^x)*(.05^1-x)*(z^b)*((1-z)^(a-b))* combination(ab)

x = 1 if mainhand hits, 0 if it doesn't
z = hit rate
a = additional hits
b = additional hits landed

if b is less than a, then use this formula:

(.95^x)*(.05^x)*((1-z)^(a-b))* combination(ab)

Then you take that answer and multiply by the likely hood it would happen, example being .49*any answer with no DA. .09* any with two DA.

So you dont think its 5x5 anymore? Good for you.
I never honestly thought that. I just wanted you to prove something for once instead of throwing out random numbers to look cool. Now, if you would like to prove me wrong, go for it. I can back up anything I suggest with math, in case you haven't noticed.

Has anyone ever tried WAR/DRK for MS zerg?
How would it be compared to /SAM?

WAR, even with Embrava and Haste, still benefits from Hasso I believe. STP facilitates X-hits much easier, and /DRK's HP to DMG rate as a subjob is very weak. Considering Sekkanoki, Seigan's situational application, and Meditate, it's just not a feasible exchange. In general, it sacrifices way more than it gives.

Delay modifier w/o Hasso = .97(sword strap)*(1024-448(magic)-256(gear))/1024 = .3031

Delay modifier w/ Hasso = .97*(1024-448-256-102(hasso))/1024 = .2065

Applying a Ragnarok's Delay (with some flooring along the way!), that makes 1.48 seconds per swing with Hasso, and 2.18 seconds per swing without. My ability to clearly present conclusions is inhibited by the lateness of the hour, but Hasso shaves off nearly 1/3 of your delay compared to non-Hasso with otherwise capped delay modifying terms.

So to answer your question, a WAR/DRK would swing 2/3 as much as if they were /SAM, probably add a hit required to WS from no /SAM sTP, lose out on Hasso STR, be a liability/MP sponge with Souleater, and there's a good chance gain nothing from Last Resort since during a most zergs, you'll have Attack capped, or at least comfortably high. Subjob Last Resort only gives 15% attack anyways, so that's no huge panty-dropper.

So....7 hit or 6 hit!? Generally, I know there are a lot of different situations, but is it worth it to replace neck/sub/ammo slots with storetp?

Any advice on an ideal MS WS set?

Does Cavaros mantle beat atheling? Is there anything else I should be swapping in? Any advice is appreciated.

Still looking for an optimal rag setup with and without hexed gear since i don't have any yet, but am working on it. There are about 8 different sets posted recently and none of them have any agreement.

How is that mantle better than atheling? Don't typically need ACC at most events unless Legion.

Why Tyrant's over Mars's and Kokou's over Ravager's?

I guess the 1 DA may do so little with fighter's that it's not really worth it.

Regarding Tyrant's, I'm probably missing something, but isn't that still a 7-hit?

One would hope that you could conclude if acc+15 or attk+15 would be more useful on the monster you are targetting.

and if that doesn't cap hit rate (obviously changing Atheling to Letalis before anything drastic) I take it you should drop back to a 7-hit and make sure you're capping hit rate?

If you're not capped on hit rate you're probably getting embrava anyways.

Besides mine has more acc than the 7 hit anyways.

Edit: With 7 hit using Valkyrie's I mean.

True enough for now, but I'm mainly thinking if the nerf does end up going through... as that'd probably be the time I'd actually be able to pick up a Rose Strap lol.

I will currently finish Ragnarok in the next 2-3 days and I got a couple of questions.

1) Would it be better to equip Ragnarok on DRK or WAR? Keep in mind I have Apocalypse, Bravura, and Ukko.

2) If say the answer was WARRIOR. What set would be the best set for WAR, not including NNI gear(no static since my timezone sucks, GMT +4).

3) The status on my Armada is Stp+6, DA+2, and Subtle Blow+6. Should I keep it on that or try to get DA+3? If yes, what should be the Stp status at for my Armada to be great? Or would it be find as it is now?

4) Since Phos+1 is EXTREMELY rare to find. Should I try and get a NQ Phos or just stick to Goading/Phasa(6 haste)?

1) Drk
2) Zelus/Armada/AF3/Goading
3) Get the DA+3
4) ^

That set above has 27% haste, you don't need the HQ Phos.
