Might not show up on widescan(and i doubt it since widescan doesnt work on coffer, chest, etc...) But is there a "3rd party tool" that would enhance your abilty to locate a ring ?

That's what everyone else ITT needs. I just find it hard to believe people let themselves get so excited over something so improbable... Mog Bonanza. Treasure Caskets. Augments. See the pattern? People expect so many awesome, shiny things and then just go "omg SE king of fail!!" when things don't go their way. If you honestly think Square-Enix is this awful company who's out to get you... why are you even playing?

If it's any consolation, I agree with you >_> First people complained about it spawning at a time when only Japanese players could get it... then they complain that it spawns at a time when anyone has a chance and it's mostly based on luck. I don't know about everyone else, but I'm of the camp that enjoys just having some free bonuses every week.

Guys, tablets being spawned in a random time window is a GOOD thing because it means people won't be able to camp the things and end the search after 20 minutes like last time. Everyone actually has a bigger chance to find one now because not just the hardcore JPs can do it.
i prefer the random.
