What's still left is to just give 6 rune weapons in one trade to verify the last title.

There's only 6 titles left I can't verify (because they may not actually exist)

there were a ***load of rune weapons on AH here, so I'm gonna try 7x refuse, 1x trade, and then 8x trade at once (all different weapon types)

yeah got blade enthusiast when I got 28k bayld in one trade from 8 different rune weapons.

The amount of detective work japan had to do to find that quest.. not to mention manage to save up 8 weapons and trade them all together. Has an old school ff mystery feel. I kind of like it(and on a larger scale, the mystery behind rankups).

Obviously I like ***like that too... but I like to know that it exists. How a someone finds out that wearing an almost universally bad weapon in an ilevel era as a trigger is pretty wild.

You could presume that it was related to a rune fencer, (dat mining a runic title) and then the next logic leap is he wants you to go to strange apparati... so... what if I wore a weapon then gave it to him. Wild.

The mastery thing, obviously I dig, it's just that.. its obvious and obscure at the same time. Do stuff. Get titles. Yeah. No mystery there. But how they're subdivided and weighted with absolutely nothing to go on. And largely impossible to repeat. Your average player only has one "real" account, you can't go do cop missions 35 times to narrow it down. You can't delevel your skill you can't undo a mission or unearn a title.

Kinda old, unlikely anyone remebers. Alluvian skirmish has 3 titles. Trying to find specifically which each one is

Adumbration Disperser - Cirdas V
Queller of Otherworldly Gales - Rala V
Alluvion Assailant - Yorcia V

I don't remember every clearing a tier V torso, but if I ever did it had to have been yorcia because everyone always just let kirin win

I also have all three of those titles

edit: also I think there are indivual tier V torso clear titles for each of the 4 skirmish zones

Alluvian has 3 and OG has 4

I know the OG 4, it's the alluvian 3 that're proving semi difficult to find

it seems to simply be clear a V just like the original 4

I know I've never cleared cirdas and rala V for sure. those are the ones that drop weapons, right?

And yeah I have all three of those titles

When two of the same Geo- Luopon are up, or two of the same Indi- spell, and one is stronger (e.g., one GEO with Idris, one without), what happens? Do you get the benefit of the stronger spell, the more recently casted, something else?

The stronger is in effect, 2nd has no effect.

I think the Skirmish title is given if you clear the Balamor

Sorry to distract from the title talk, but I'm going to make another relic just cuz. Which weapons are the most likely to return to glory should SE follow up with its claim to improve the WSes?

Right now I'm considering Kikoku, because I don't have a RMEA for NIN yet, Spherai, because counters, or Amano, but generally something is already wrong if I need more acc on SAM. I'm willing to consider others too, aside from Aegis (or Gjal, which I have).

They could magically make any of them best on a whim.

"Most likely" mandau spharai and kikoku have huge potential, anni is always a contender

it's literally pure guess, just based on what they could do if they wanted to, making MS and Metsu into actual multi hit with wsd applied to every hit etc. none of the 2handers apply here and while guttler is awesome, it's bst.

Spharai and Anni would take different "random changes" but never the less totally in the realm of possible.

I would assume they make pretty linear upgrades on them, rather than specific upgrades to each relic WS, but I could be wrong. Lord knows they should change the mage relics entirely, because whatthefuckweretheythinking.

For Trial 711 there's two versions of an NM I need to kill with the same name (Hawkeyed Dnatbat, one in Davoi and one in La Vaule) will both NMs count or just one of them?

Only the OG... never actually tried, so not 100% but pretty sure

Just like how killing the chariot in salvage II is identical but doesn't count.

I think raptor wrangler is another broken title, or you have to do something extra to get it.

Well I killed the La Vaule version of the NM anyways and it didn't count, so good to know. And yeah, the trial log does mention the specific area, didn't think to use my magian specs.

The raptor title comes from redoing the mount quest and completing it in under 4mins.

It says even if you complete it on an easy difficulty setting you won't get the title. Can you increase the difficulty somewhere?

I clearly beat it faster than 4 minutes but she still says the best logged time is 4:06
