While this is true, the Subtle Blow alignment interferes with the Charis Toeshoes' haste, which as we all know will significantly increase your haste proc rate, which parses with significantly diminishing returns on ws at lower dCHR numbers.

Remember everyone, when you ask yourself "how much haste is too much before I start lowering my proc rate?" think of this:
26% haste, procs gone to waste
Low percent, procs well spent

Rudra's only outside abys. The raw WS damage averages only slightly lower, but the ODD pulls it ahead.

is it also a balance of gold and brown for ears? cause wouldnt jupiters pearl > aesir. or is that just WAY too much purple everywhere!

Attack earring probably better for DNC. Aesir at least.

mirke better than relic+1 for DE, but charis casaque +2 is best for DE.

i'm pretty sure mirke+10att/acc is best for evisceration too except for loki's.

here is my gear for evisc.

*anwig has +15ws acc/+2% ws dmg

Epona's and the 7 DEX ring are both strong options. How good Epona's is depends where you are (Abyssea or not) and whether you're using Saber Dance.

Outside Abyssea, Ample Gloves would probably beat Charis +1.

Nifty Mantle is only an upgrade to Atheling in strange conditions, and it's inventory -1 over not carrying it. I just ignore it.

For neck, Rancor Collar is going to be a strong upgrade.

For Body, Loki's Kaftan is really only a great option for Evisceration inside Abyssea. Outside Abyssea your crit rate is so low that you're probably best off sticking to your Mirke.

You should probably ditch the elemental belt and go with Cuchulain's or Pipilaka.

Your Anwig could use a re-augment, I think?

not sure what upgrade you're referring to for anwig. i also use it for mnk, so i think i'd keep it even if there is a slight upgrade.

i sc all the time, so wouldn't the +sc damage win over any +ws damage? i need to upgrade to +2s of course, but i think i'll keep charis.

+SC damage is kind of a trap. Look at it like this:
First WS -> Evisceration -> Darkness (Evisceration * Skillchain Bonus)

If Ample Gloves increase Evisceration damage by 2.5% and you have 20% Skillchain Bonus base, then:
First WS -> Evisceration*1.025 -> Evisceration*1.2*1.025 = First WS + 2.255 Eviscerations

If Charis +1 increases Skillchain Bonus by 5%, Evisceration damage by 1%, and you have 20% Skillchain Bonus base:
First WS -> Evisceration *1.01 -> Evisceration*1.25*1.01 = First WS + 2.2725 Eviscerations

These are purely made up numbers, because I'm too lazy to enter it in to Motenten's spreadsheet.
* Improving your WS damage also improves your skillchain damage, and improvements to your WS damage are magnified by your skillchain bonus.
* Increases in your skillchain damage do nothing for you if you aren't skillchaining, but increasing your WS damage always helps you.
* If the Bangles didn't have a competitive amount of DEX on them, you should use Ample Gloves for sure.

Anyway, you should have Ample Gloves for Dancing Edge and Waltzes, so it doesn't save you any gear slots.
