So... some dood on Leviathan finally killed all 6 caturae.

It absorbs melee damage while it's using a WS or casting magic; never absorbed any nukes. Casts all -ga4 spells, and AM1. It used Cosmic Breath, but we were able to avoid that just by not being in front of it.
Its normal melee attacks behave like the Iron giants; can be absorbed by 2-3 shadows + additional effect stun.
We proc'd blue !! with Evisceration, was during piercing time so it seems like it follows the same rules. I kept getting say messages telling me that it was weak to ice magic (from the discernment abyssite I'm guessing), but blizzard4/3 didn't work.
I was able to get a new Crimson Traverser stone and can enter the fight again though; so it looks like unlimited tries, (well as many Traverser stones you have). Quote: Yep, 6 person BC, 30minutes.

Any word on how to get the Abyssite of Discernment yet? The dude in the Fight apparently had it, it would save a lot of guesswork and clusterfuck time.

If the Key Item to get in is infinite after you kill all 6 caturae, and this does drop twilight stuff(more than likely), that makes me a little sad. Everyone and their dog will be running around in the twilight gear. Even if it has a Kraken Club drop rate, people will spam that ***for two weeks and never sleep until they have it.

According to jp wiki, Discernment comes from the quest to actually kill all 6 caturae, so you automatically have it once you can access shinryu.
Also, BC seems reasonably hard so far, one blog where I saw they beat it, they ended up having to brew it. So mostly likely won't be seeing TOO much twilight gear that soon unless people figure out some trick for it, lol.

maybe abyssite of discernment works on bc-boss too?
besides that 2 million cruor still isnt that much to get.

Based on SS's, it seems to narrow it down for you, so like, you get a message that says Monster's weaknesss appears to be a H2H WS/Fire based WS/Water based magic, etc...

Hints you as to what will trigger the 3 (!!) Procs.
The fiend appears to be weak to <Ice,Thunder,Light,Dark,Fire,Earth,Water,Wind> Elemental Magic.
The Fiend appears to be weak to <Element> Elemental Weapon Skill damage.
The Fiend Appears to be weak to <Dagger, Sword, Greatsword, Scythe, Ect, Ect.> Physical Weapon Skill damage.

Can you use temp items in the fight? (gogo brew!)
Where do you get this discernment abyssite? All zone boss kills?
