So after seeing 'Player Warning' after 'Player warning', I've really wanted to make a 'Nice Player Warning' thread.
I wanted to share something pleasant that happened today on Sylph. The cooking GP item was sold by an NPC, but only to those from Windurst, so I asked a JP Taru to help me out ~  The pies came out to 20k or so so I gave Darkiny 40k for helping me out, he/she then promptly traded me back all 40k I know it's not groundbreaking or anything, but I always find it's the little things things that matter

I've asked a ls mate to pick me up some shihei before when I ran out to a meripo early and forgot mine. He came and traded me a stack of tools and 100k... and told me I wouldn't get the tools unless I took the gil ;_; Dude's name was Mocheese on bahamut. Haven't seen him around since I came back.
I love japanese people. When they team up with you they always end up helping more than receiving.
Imo the japanese are the best players. Tip: if you want to be friendly to the japanese and you use windower, use this site and copy/paste, they get pretty excited when I do that lol http://club.pep.ne.jp/~hiroette/en/facemarks/

When I first started on Alexander years ago a taru up the mountain in S.Gustaberg gave me 100k

I've never had any issues with the JP playerbase. I think maybe because I'm not a total noob and I'm always polite ~

A guy I've only really met once before traded me his Novio Earring for me to try for a bit. Was surprised by seeing someone be that trusting in game. Ofcourse he never got it back! j/k ofcourse I gave it back to him

I wish there was a good translation to jp, I'd like to communicate more when I've got JP members, but I get the feeling english to japanese translators make me look stupid when the words come out backward lol.
Is it strange that I sort of like the challenge in trying to communicate through auto-translate phrases?

If so, 2 weeks. So you're telling my '[Mithra][Subtle Blow][Job]' and similar phrases are killing me!?

Had a rather unpleasant run-in with two bsts today. They were working on Trail axes and we were targetting the same mobs, so I offered to join up since they'd still get credit and we wouldn't have to compete for mobs. They declined.
