Volte Drop Rate (Working As Intended?)

If what has been discussed so far has some meaning, then TH probably has no influence at all on Volte.
Might have an influence on other slots (like the Moldy? void/shard?), we're still tryin to sort things out.

So, to add a bit more data I gathered in the last few runs.
We got 2 volte drops only from Red eyes on Wave2, both times it was in slot number #2, in place of Blackened Card.

Can we try to define a model for the Red Eyes drop slots?
I'm starting with a tentative, incomplete one.
Could it be something like:


Slot#1: Blackened Card (100%)
Slot#2: Blackened Card / Volte (slot is 100%, Volte rate probably like ~5%?)
Slot#3: Blackened Card (not 100%, affected by TH)
Slot#4 Heroism Crystal / Heroism Aggregate (100%, TH doesn't affect the frequency Aggregate drops instead of Crystal? I guess?)
Slot#5: Heroism Crystal (100%)
Slot#6: Void Body (100% drop, gonna be one job or the other)
Slot#7: zone Void Job#1 (not 100% drop, affected by TH)
Slot#8: zone Void Job#2 (not 100% drop, affected by TH)

I'm unsure where to put the Crystal gems. It's unlikely it occupies a 9th slot, right?
I'm not sure what it could occupy. Probably shares a slot with a Heroism Crystal?

After scrolling through this thread, I see no mention of W1 NMs, however BG wiki lists them as carrying Volte. Has anyone attempted to farm Volte from W1 NMs?

Waves 1 doesn't, mind linking the page you saw that and I will update.

Only thing I've seen so far is the Dyna-D Sandy page showing Volte for both wave NMs, haven't found anything else.

Several people debated me a long time ago stating W1 NMs drop Volte, and said they got it from wiki.

This page says "Leader" and "Commander" NMs drop volte pieces. Should just be the Commander NMs, since those are Wave 2.

The Sandy page specifically lists Leader mobs as dropping Volte items Before Overloard Tombstone next to each NM.

Also, nowhere on wiki does it state that Wave 1 NMs cannot drop Volte pieces, further confusing people into believing Wave 1 NMs can drop Volte.

This may be what they mean, but I could have sworn I've seen it elsewhere too.

On every Volte item page it lists the mobs it can drop from. They say, leader before midboss, commander after midboss, and zone boss.

cmon guys, volte gear doesnt drop. it's a myth.

naming convention is weird, whomever named it "zone boss" probably should be flogged

It was the zone boss before they introduced Wave 3, so no one just bothered to change it after.

just got 3 drops last run shrug
