Good find! Also looking forwards towards it.
Hope I wasn't the only one who clicked the Wolverine Anime trailer after that lol. I'm currently watching FMA:Brotherhood. In my opinion it's greatly better than the first version's story.
Anime series I'm looking forward to this spring is Black Rock Shooter. semimmortal said: Good find! Also looking forwards towards it. Hope I wasn't the only one who clicked the Wolverine Anime trailer after that lol. And as for Black Rock Shooter, also looking forward to watching it too. Hope it would be a similar to INTERSTELLA 5555 (ie. a music video-ish type show). Though I'd guess I won't be surprised if it turns out to me a magical girl type show (ugh...). And I agree, Full metal alchemist: Brotherhood is way better than the 1st (I think it's because this one's based on the manga? Not sure, but I can't get too absorbed into it... too many shows/mangas/comics/forumtrolling for one person to manage!) Also, here: http://randomc.animeblogger.net/2009/12/30/winter-2010-preview/ List of shows this winter with a small summary~ @EEs: Brotherhood's so great (by that I mean Major General Armstrong is so great), but the original holds a special place in my heart. It got me into the series and it's a pretty unforgettable story as it was and a bit shorter, so I felt more attached to the individual characters. I just hold them as separate and amazing and can't wait to see what other stuff Brotherhood has in store. x3
@Semi: Thanks for the previews link! Mostly my response can be summed up by . . . `________________` wtfQwaser. They are soooooo creative over there. lol By virtue of vampires, I'll probably check out Dance of the Vampire Bund. Also, rewatching some old Gundam stuff lately. Started with G Gundam, but might just skip right over to Wing; it was my first. '3' Plus it has Trowa working for the circus (i.e. everything). Oh and here's something I wanted to drop off. Amazing little 9-minute anime short by the creator of Pale Cocoon and Time of Eve. Watch!
Mizu_no_Kotoba/Aquatic Language Has both subs and english dubs, but some of the eng dubs are ..kind of terrible. Easier to understand the flow, though. Katananagari OP leaked! I really, really like this art style. lol
Also a new series out called "So Ra No Wo To" that supposedly appeals to K-On! fans and has a lot of good word-of-mouth going for it right now after the first episode aired. 30s preview on their site: http://www.sorawoto.com/theater/theater09.html Just now I finished watching Gundam Seed Destiny.
Was never a big fan of any Gundam series... but man Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny while being very criticized by a lot of fans.. AND having some kinda stupid moments... I must say that the series was entertaining and really fun. The drama, the fights, the chaos and the sadness... it all fits really well and it blends very good in the characters. Man, I really did liked these Gundam series... and now I'm very inspired to watch Gundam 00~ Currently watching the remake of Guyver.
No idea why, it's still crappy artwork, and yet I can't stop. >_> Watching Fist of the North Star... again.
... ... Actually, I'll blame Erim's MSPaint submission about Maat(ina). Remembering that person reminds me of Kenshiro's quote: (excuse the poor crunchyroll quality) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Laughed my *** out, because I remember Maat flooring me in 7 secs before >.>; Kenshiro's so full of it. If you have 708 pressure points to work with, of course you're going to be a bad *** and explode people, I would argue it'd be harder NOT to explode people with those kind of numbers working in your favor.

Watch until the end, okay? xD Garuda.Mameshiba said: Just for you my friend! Watch until the end, okay? xD Figgin lucky at the 2nd round, last round was a slap to his face lol. Maaaaan... you've made me revive my old MAME hard drive. Good old arcade games. Never remember beating hokuto no ken though :( Yeah, that match was seriously epic
First time I saw it I was like "Oh man this game ain't very nice". Then I saw the second round and I was like "WHOA!!! HOKUTO ZAN KAI KEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" then I saw Toki winning and I was like "HORY SHI------!!!!!" Then 3rd round came and I lol'd the whole night. Man that was seriously epic. Not to hate or degrade others' opinions. I just need to point this out clearly ...(;^^).... Everytime I hear someone recommend Akira, Ghost in the Shell, Ninja Scroll..just any of those three(seriously is that all you guys ever watch?), hearing these titles over and over reminds me of the time this one elderly told me to put my "Nintendo" away. Which in fact isn't a "Nintendo" but rather a psp..or ps3 , wte :P.. you get what i mean.. anyway.. ANIME!..here are some i really recommend. watch watch watch!
1.)K-on: If you're into VERY Cute Female characters with every bit of innocent and humor, You definitely should try "K-On" its in the top 100s of 800+ The voicing for each character is excellent and this show captures something most cute anime lacks. "ULTRA-Moee" x333333 Again, the anime is called K-On!!!!!!!!!! (you'll thank me later) So if you finish K-on...seen it, why not check this 2nd one out. Its damn good 2.) Toradora(not dora the explorer <.<;;;) : If you are the type that watch anime only if the opening and ending song sounds catchy THEN please don't look any further, Go check out Toradora, the music is hawt. Another show that is amount the top 100s of the 800+ animes I just had to point that out, otherwise this is an excellent anime. 3.) To Aru Majustu No Index: another great anime, veryyyyyyyy well drawn, i have all their music stuck in my head, And the story is fuggin incredible. 4.) To Aru Kagaku no Railgun: this is rather a side story from To Aru Majutsu No index. some claims it to be the sequel. the clean drawing and character design is what makes anime stand out so well. Please watch this x))!! ...i got a list of others if you're into the things i listed so far. PM me if you want the link to all these great anime. :) There's this one series that one of the fansub groups I sometimes use (Eclipse) is doing but I can't find any info on it. As far as I can tell it is just called TO. Yeah image doing searches on that /facepalm. Anyone know anything or where I can find info or something?

Didn't see this before... any recommendations? semimmortal said: Ramuh.Dasva said: There's this one series that one of the fansub groups I sometimes use (Eclipse) is doing but I can't find any info on it. Basically random outerspace stories. Some story some action and whatever. But it is well done. They like hour long episodes but I like it even if there doesn't seem to be an overall story lol. Wish there was more than those 2 OVAs though semimmortal said: Garuda.Mameshiba said: Just for you my friend! I began watching Railgun not that long ago, but didn't continue with it as I wasn't sure if it was just loli slice-of-life or not? Not really my thing if so. lol Also, is it necessary to watch Index before Railgun? Hmmm... guess it's the wrong emulator :P
Though I'm sure there's a HnK for the MAME, must be a reeeaally old version of it lol. Only way for me to get to play that game is via PCSX2 emulator... Guess I'll get back to watching the show~ As for Index/Railgun, they can be both watched separately without having a lot of spoilers. Both have their own protagonist, not that it really matters lol. And yes, they're both have rori (and a lot of yuri in railgun) content. Another series I'd finished watching but forgot to mention:
The Melancholy of Haruhi suzumiya~ (Make sure to watch it in the order it was released on TV and not the noted order if that makes sense?) And also... Clannad / Clannad afterstory I cried way too much... I'm such a sensitive midget!! But I promise you by the end of episode 3 you'll be singing the Big Dango Family song ;) (Dango... dango... dango... dango... dango daikazokuuuuuuuuu~) Sorry I'm so late getting back to this thread! @ Asura: Hit - You can find the episodes of Blade of the Immortal anime on tehparadox.com (Wonderful wonderful site!) Also I, too am waiting eagerly for the 2nd installment of the new (I say 'new'... I should say 'remastered') Evangelion movies. It was indeed a nice surprise when I saw all the added content, redone scenes, added sparklies and how can I forget the Eva units <3 ahhh so many good times! haha Small question: Has anyone read Azu manga Daioh? A friend loaned one of the books to me, it's pretty amusing! Really cute but sometimes adult sense of humor (Who doesn't enjoy a good talk about breast size, srsly?) Another Q (Oh dear!) I'm not sure if I've mentioned this series previously, I'm so forgetful! But has anyone else seen Shadow star Narutaru (NOT effing Naruto *spits* lol) But if not, it's a very good albeit slightly weird series. By the end of it though you'll be searching for your own Hoshimaru backpack!! Hey Naruto isn't that bad if you watch it in japanese. If I had to listen to it in english though I would so throw my TV out of the house. Believe it!
I watched a few episodes back when it first started coming out on Japanese TV.... but then for reason I took a break, maybe I was working too much.. I don't remember @_@ lol.
Then when I wanted to get back into it, it had started coming out in the states and most 13 year old fanboys around my area were all sportin' some nifty ninja garb (yay, headbandz) and showing their appreciation for shadow-clone jutsu... I kinda got put off :( not to mention scared to death by all the sasuXnaru fans!!! oh boy :( lol Asura.Israfel said: Another series I'd finished watching but forgot to mention: The Melancholy of Haruhi suzumiya~ (Make sure to watch it in the order it was released on TV and not the noted order if that makes sense?) By the end of it though you'll be searching for your own Hoshimaru backpack!! Check out the other KEY anime/visual-novels, they're all the same genre, and can easily make you go baaaw. Currently waiting for Little Busters! to be animated hopefully~ Azumanga Daioh... it's pretty good, it's just sometimes it makes me want to strangle that girl with down syndrome :( Otherwise, pretty funny at most times lol. And Narutaru... Don't make me remember it... DEFINITELY, not for kids. Even if the cover or 1st few episodes are childish, it won't be pretty later on (and you can't stop watching!)... haha!! I'm so glad you agree, Semimmortal!! XD
I was... intrigued? I guess that would be the right word when it came to Narutaru... very adult / dark and kinda gory in parts >_<, though very twisted storyline kinda made you forget all of that stuff and had you sitting at the edge of your chair waiting to see what would happen next. So nice that you too have read Azu manga Daioh XD I will most definately check out the other KEY stuff, Clannad had me sold haha... I really wish I could get my hands on a giant Dango now :P I forsee a great need for kleenex in my future e_e Seraph.Caiyuo said: Thank you for your offer. I had a question regarding these two. Not really my thing if so. lol Also, is it necessary to watch Index before Railgun? Railgun is quite loli and tend to use young characters or very short individuals that are higher in age (which can be accurate to say if these character are base on japanese people o.0). They have their reason as the story is tenderly about a level ranges from 1 to 5+ for people with abilities, in most cases, it takes time to get from level 1 to level 5 ability. in the world of science they live in, not everyone can possess these abilities. Just watch more of it and define the fighting actions! Its a beautiful world to aru has to offer. There is nothing negative about this anime. besides the main character wear shorts under her skirt :D! (my Icon/avatar is from railgun so to speak) As for Index. I cant really say much for the loli part, but the story is pretty straight forwarding, funny/goofy, and very depressing at times. They tend to use food for comedy so, if you can deal with that its funny as hell. However its worth the watch. The world of Science is the same as To aru no railgun. just a slight alter on the railgun girl :), Motoko was it. same like you, i began watching Railgun first up to episode 5, and realize it was a branch off from To aru Majutsu no Index x)).. I paused railgun even though it was very interesting, but after i finish Index, i was thrilled to go back to Railgun. I can say this crossover had me asking for more, and there was railgun to watch (still airing O.O) First I will say my favourite anime of all time is Berserk, Guts is the most baddass *** ever. The manga is even better. If you haven't yet I suggest watching it, then reading the manga, as the anime ends early.
Now. I'm sure most of you will laugh, but maybe have guessed from my avatar, the only anime i have any interest in recently is One Piece. Which btw surpassed Dragonball as the #1 most read manga in Japan in 2009. It's great stuff, it reminds me of early Dragonball combining comedy with intense fights. Its like pirates instead of ninjas lol! I recently started watching Initial D, *** yeah, street racing! Great change of pace from the super-powered super-magical *** that is most anime! lol Garuda.Feifongwong said: First I will say my favourite anime of all time is Berserk, Guts is the most baddass *** ever.
