They don't seem to be that bad to me, tbf. They are offhand weapons for sure, so the 2H versions suck but 2H users get the grip.
The HQ2 dagger looks like a decent offhand for high end fights where you can't get away with Centovente, no? I guess it depends on whether or not you can use the pdl. High level Nms are the most likely use case here, so I'd say it's a toss up. 10 PDL versus 6% Triple attack, 15 dex/agi, better acc/attack and 10 subtle blow II. If you get mileage from the extra accuracy on gleti's I'd still probably default to that. Also subtle blow II is really nice on stuff like gartell. If you're buffed enough to utilize the PDL and don't have gleti's ranked up yet I can see it. It can go wither way tbh. It's a model viewer idiosynchrosy. I couldnt get it to line up nicely so I just went with something for expedieancy. Either it was the wrong race's model or I just didn't find a good animation to pair with it. It still shows off the model for the bow just fine. That's all I was going for. In game it'll work just like all other bows. I promise you the in game dats and races and animations are properly aligned. All of the mithra weapons were neatly aligned 1 after another toward the end of the new files, but for whatever reason every race's bows were at the very end of the new dats and all the shields were clumped together at the very start. They weren't alongside the other weapons for each race. The dats aren't always neatly ordered so it is what it is. Asura.Melliny said: » here we are. Most of the two handed weapons are toward the bottom, with the staff toward the middle. I really like the staff design. The open circle bit at the front is very unique and I think quite cool. The great axe is second from bottom right and I'm not really sure what to make of it. It's vaguely reminding me of something with the specific curvature of the blades, but I can't place my finger on what that is. Even if they ignored limbus dt the fact is that prime weaponskills are so insanely broken just having access to them makes them BiS. Chango underperforms pretty terribly compared to simple savage blade spam, and the reason is because upheaval is multi hit and thus not a part of the 80-85% WSD single hit meta. Laphria is so far ahead of it it's kind of dumb, and it's all because of Disaster. Savage blade and all the savage blade knockoffs just synergise too well with nyame. Diasater, Diarmuid, Origin, Fimbulvetr, Mumei, and of course Savage Blade and Rudra's Storm are the stars of the meta for a reason. A generic weapon with no attached weaponskill isn't necessarily better. A good group will chew through a group of limbus mobs even WITH their 50% DT, largely because 80-85% WSD 1 hit fTP scaling weaponskills are too effective right now and everything combat related revolves around them. That said, If they ignored limbus mob DT I could definitely see monk playing around with the H2H in limbus, especially with hoxne ampulla, since H2H weaponskills are the outlier and don't follow savage blade mechanics. Maybe my understanding of the process is incomplete, because I haven't augmented a single thing beyond R1 Alabaster earring, and I've only made 5 unaugmented Revelation pieces (I just have a few dozen unused matters). Help me understand: to augment each RP rank, you need 5 shards PLUS 1 of each matter per rank? Or only need the 5 shards for the initial uncursing of the gear? You know, I am so out of the loop with Limbus because it is so terrible, I honestly never bothered understanding the process beyond getting the base gear. I wondered why people were buying the hell out of my Mercy shards seconds after putting them up, surely there couldn't be THAT much demand for base Clemency pieces. Holy Moly.
I'm kind of slow so help me out: 5 shards per rank means you need 150 shards to R30 a single piece of gear, and 60 matters total (30 of each), plus the initial 5 shards and 2 matters to uncurse is that right? grand total 152 shards, 62 matters? not sure what the total unit cost is without looking it up (at current cost of 1m/mercy shard, thats 152M to R30 a single piece of armor. Bro, what?) I have been living under a rock (mindlessly doing limbus climbs), and I'm going back there. That is my understanding, yea. According to the wiki, the same item used in uncursing is used for each augment rank(which is obtained by trading the 2 matters and 5 shards). I assume the weapons are the same. |
