I've done some testing with self SC+MB and it does some good dmg. If you have a high magic acc vs the target, you could able to do around the triple dmg that you can do on a ws.
But that is assuming you use Futae. Offline

Got an Ochu while spamming the new SoA fight.
Augments were: Dmg+15 Str+10 Dex+10 Ninjutsu skill+10 Creecreelo said: » Got an Ochu while spamming the new SoA fight. Augments were: Dmg+15 Str+10 Dex+10 Ninjutsu skill+10 Wow, that's pretty damn nice with those augs. Less DMG than a max Izuna but slightly less delay, but those attributes! Wouldn't be surprised if that beats an excellent Izuna mainhand thanks to the stronger WS mods. At the very least, in the top handful of katanas (and RME katanas die a little more). Not to mention R.Acc for Daken helps a bit and isn't something people would have on an Izuna. Magic stats are gravy, allowing you to actually maybe get some decent MB in while still using a legit DD katana. Creecreelo said: » Got an Ochu while spamming the new SoA fight. Ochu with good augments seems even better though, altough I'm going on a hunch here, haven't mathed it out. Sounds like its base item with random aug's, similar to abby box weapons. I could be wrong though.
Yeah, good freaking luck getting +1 neo-Khepri hands. They look nice, but that crafting system... Nagi comes from Sinister Reign, as do Samnuha Coat and Samnuha Tights. Both of those also come with pre-augmented (random?) augments. Tights in particular look interesting. Augments reported: STR+8 DEX+9 DA+3% TA+2%. I'd be all over some DEX+15 tights with DA/TA/Acc/good STR - fantastic Shun piece. Cerberus.Kaeviathan

Oh damn, these things are augmented as well?
NIIIICE....WAIT! Do these augment somehow involve investing gil? Cerberus.Kaeviathan said: » Oh damn, these things are augmented as well? NIIIICE....WAIT! Do these augment somehow involve investing gil? They drop pre-augmented, a la JSE capes when they come out of Incursion coffers. Can someone test Ochu with the best Augments that were found so far?
Imho it should be better than Raicho +1, much better, but in the few tests I've performed it comes really close (1/0.5 dps difference). I'd love to see more detailed tests if someone can be bothered with those. It seems too strange to me that it's this close to Raicho+1. —[Aug 2015 BEST Katana]—
Set DPS: Code Nagi / Izuna — 1469.691 Izuna / Izuna — 1412.023 Ochu / Izuna — 1411.374 Raicho+1 / Izuna — 1397.166 *Izuna Dmg+17, Acc/Att+15, CritDmg+5 main **Izuna STR/AGI+15, Acc/Att+15, CritDmg+5 sub Set DPS: Code Nagi / Ochu — 1439.417 Izuna / Ochu — 1404.141 Ochu / Ochu — 1388.190 Raicho+1 / Ochu — 1382.398 *Izuna Dmg+17, Acc/Att+15, CritDmg+5 main Set DPS: Code Nagi / Raicho+1 — 1440.476 Izuna / Raicho+1 — 1401.527 Ochu / Raicho+1 — 1398.145 *Izuna Dmg+17, Acc/Att+15, CritDmg+5 main Also btw: I stick w/ Kujaku+1 over all sub. Vs Sinister Reign, in max acc set, I couldn't self-SC using Izuna/Kujaku+1 but w/ Nagi combination AM3 + OAT i could. So eventho it's not amongst the "Best" in spreads. It's still BiS imo vs highest evasion targets regardless. Code Nagi / Achiuchikapu — 1412.600 Izuna / Achiuchikapu — 1379.575 Ochu / Achiuchikapu — 1387.346 Raicho+1 / Achiuchikapu — 1376.308 *Izuna Dmg+17, Acc/Att+15, CritDmg+5 main Correction: Non-Mythic wpns are closer Set DPS then I listed. Was lazy and swapped wpns around not tp sets. 10~20 more DPS subracting STP for Double Attack. How does Achiuchikapu do for an off-hand?

Nice, Ochu is not Rare/Ex
NIN+PLD is probly the best combo now since SE fixed emnity and Innin w/ Yain: Ichi. Just thought I'd mention. When we needed UC items for Escha t2 zi tah. We did Borealis Shadow trio PLD+NIN+whatever mage and rest Trusts.
Other than PLD+RNG maybe, i don't think even PLD+THF is better than a PLD w/ NIN. I'm sure ppl have been using w/o saying. Just sayin for those who haven't been. Figured you guys would appreciate this. Did it pretty much as a joke, now I think I have new Blade: Hi feet. Path D ftw.
A: ACC10 ATT10 EVA15 B: STR10 DEX10 ATT15 C: Pet: (HP100 ACC15 DT-3%) D: HP50 Crit Rate 3 DA2 Phoenix.Capuchin said: » Yeah, good freaking luck getting +1
Those feet path D should work nicely for MNK and PUP As well for Vsmite and STringing Pummel.
Not sure if the best, but they surely going to work nice at least. For NIN there are also the new Loyalist's Sabatons which with perfect augments are a nice option for WS and TP. Check em. And Ta'lar Trousers too are a decent sidegrade, altough for TP they're probably under Samnuha and for WS they're probably under perf augs Taeon. (for Blade: Hi of course, because for Shun Samnuha are better). Ta'lar are worse than both probably, but at the same time they don't suck in either role (with perf augs, of course) — Abnoba > Enforcers by 110+ pts and Taeon by 290+ pts WSD. Hope it's not as impossible to get.
— Ryuo NQ > Taeon by 320+ pts WSD — Samnuha > Taeon by 39pts Set DPS — Damp. Tam > Skormoth by 1pt Set DPS but Acc/Racc far superior — Correction: NQ Adhemar > Taeon by 27pts Set DPS — NQ Adhemar does beat Damp. Tam by 12pts Set DPS as well. Can't wait to see more hexed augs! Cerberus.Kaeviathan

OP is updated.
By any chance does anyone have an up to date spreadsheet?

Got to revise the sets once again, but some other time. Just started playing.
Best I could find for Shun when Day/Time permits.
ItemSet 337263 Rao Path:B Adhemar Path:A (eventho Path:B better [Max Acc TP Set] Am I missing anything? Hmm, a lot of this gear wasn't available in April 2015 though..
Did you test with Lilitu Headpiece? (perfect augments).
Granted that it has no accuracy, but it's a nice piece. Gavialis is a pretty decent option for Shun even without the correct Day. When I tested (very quickly) my tier order for Shun was Lilitu (Perf) > Gavialis (day) > Dampening (P) > Gavialis (no day) I didn't factor in Abjuration gear because when I did the test augments weren't known yet. Let's give a quick look at those now. Some random considerations:
