This format of post poop These videos also poop ^
![]() Goof Wad /slap Ryuo with no augs? Of course it's poop.
Is that...cessance and dominance+1? No niqmaddu? Prosolio belt..? Empy hands over nyame for hybrids?
Are you sure you meant to make this public? ^
The SAM trying to be a MNK Another Goof Wad /slap Just wanted to say, I switched my TP set to use AF hands +4 and relic feet +4.
Big increase in TP-ing speed. The +4s have a lot of MEVA on them too. Standard TP set with +4 AF/Relic hands/feet gives you -45% DT and really good Def/MEVA/MDB. Standard TP set with +4 AF/Relic hands/feet gives you -45% DT and really good Def/MEVA/MDB. Really good meva is maybe overstatement. It's 130 meva below malignance/nyame, but it's at least not shitty. Really good MEVA compared to the garbage Tatenashi hands and even more garbage stinky a$$ Ryuou feet mostly everyone wears.
Malignance is irrelevant, sam cannot wear it. Better? Dodik said: » Really good MEVA compared to the garbage Tatenashi hands and even more garbage stinky a$$ Ryuou feet mostly everyone wears. Malignance is irrelevant, sam cannot wear it. Better? Malignance is irrelevant as an alternative to wear, but it's not irrelevant as a marker of "really good meva". Getting like +90~100 MEVA over Tatenashi and Ryuo doesn't change the fact that you are still 130 away from level of MEVA that let you have good resist rate in end game activities. 543 meva from 5 armor slots might still be too low to have good resist against anything serious, so in the end it might not change much in a lot of scenarios. This is the Sam thread. Armor that Sam cannot wear is irrelevant to Sam.
And I disagree adding another 130meva or w/e it is won't make a difference. I routinely resist debuffs that Sams and Wars in tatenashi hand and Odin bodies next to me don't. If your argument is what is considered good or not and referencing gear Sam cannot wear then you're arguing in bad faith and getting all -tism on what is the definition of "good". Never mind dude, just wear the stinky *** gear. Dodik said: » Just wanted to say, I switched my TP set to use AF hands +4 and relic feet +4. Big increase in TP-ing speed. I have to say my SAM gets hit with magic debuffs a lot vs WAR, using taten hands and ryou feet. Most annoyingly curse from Kei lands on SAM, but never on WAR. Dodik said: » This is the Sam thread. Never mind dude, just wear the stinky *** gear. You are acting like a kid now. I explained that it's relevant as a marker of how high your meva needs to be to be useful in end game activities. It's not 130 meva that you are adding, but 94. It will for sure make a difference, but it's still too low for some higher level stuff. I also haven't said I wouldn't wear that. I literally was the first person in this thread that suggested using +4 relic feet https://www.ffxiah.com/forum/topic/41903/bushido-the-way-of-the-samurai-a-guide-v-20/164/#3751419 but I suggested to use it with Kendatsuba +1 hands instead https://www.ffxiah.com/forum/topic/41903/bushido-the-way-of-the-samurai-a-guide-v-20/164/#3751451 It's even funnier that I was responding to you. With Kendatsuba its 19 meva more. Probably still not enough, but slightly better. And I've already responded saying kenda may be higher meva but it is significantly lower def HP and vit. All relevant stats if you're taking dmg.
If you want highest meva that is nyame not kenda. If you want highest def that is also nyame. Talking hands/feet slots here. If you want a mix of decent meva/def/vit/dd stats wear af/relic. I have no interest in nit licking how much meva it does give or whether or not you personally consider that good or not. Idc. Its not about my personal consideration, but game mechanic. If you wear more meva, but you have still floored magic evasion then that meva gives you nothing.
Wakido vs Kendatsuba +1 is +22DEF +3VIT -1HP. I wouldn't call that significantly higher def, vit and especially HP :P Nyame path A is by far superior choice, but it's a matter of choice to reduce your hybrid damage potential for better TP set. Nyame path B has Double Attack which is generally almost invisible stat in SAM TP set focused on Zanhasso, because gain from DA chance evens out the loss from losing the Zanhasso chance, so path B Nyame is strictly a defensive option in TP set. You argued wear kenda because higher meva. Nyame meva is higher.
Offensively af/relic is better than either of those because storetp. Do path A yes, it's great. Defensively nyame is better because more meva and more def. Yes, 30 ish def matters and is IMO significant. If you don't need more meva then neither kenda nor nyame is any good since you don't need more meva. If you again want to argue for kenda it's your opinion. Dodik said: » Offensively af/relic is better than either of those because storetp Except its not. Wakido Kote isn't better than Kenda. They are offensively break even. On 20h sim they parse the same with both Masamune and Kusanagi. Ah ***, if you were to run the sim for 21 hours you'd see 5/5 Outrider pulls ahead
Nah man my gran's big girl panties are the best thing to wear for 20hrs straight.
Some reading to understand why Ryou feet are the best SAM TP Feet for 99.9% of mobs. It'll also help you understand why Simon leans towards Kenda.
https://www.bg-wiki.com/ffxi/Magic_Accuracy https://www.bg-wiki.com/ffxi/Magic_Evasion I agree Relic+4 feet are you first swap but hands are a lot more tricky. You'll also waste a lot of meva/def etc on most mobs since it just doesn't matter. Then you'll be doing a v25 and realize that you need to go all in for meva/def/dt. The stuff inbetween like AF Hands+4 just doesn't really have a place in todays FFXI. I'll use Ryuou for 99% of my large behind. Not much else.
Ryou and Taten will be better for Limbus 130, Omen, Sortie mobs and basement bosses, etc. Irrelevant kill speed though really.
I CANNOT GEARSWAP SAKONJI BODY +4!! WHAT IS SOLUTION
Tried "Sakonji domaru +4" and "Sakonji Do. +4" body="Sakonji Domaru +4"
Works for me Are your libraries updated? Fenrir.Jinxs said: » body="Sakonji Domaru +4" Works for me Are your libraries updated? Also this hasn't mattered for other +4 pieces like cor feet, war head, sam legs, etc. Hey I know we're arguing about our boots and hands, because that's our melee sore point...
Gotta ask though... Any shake-us to Ranged SAMing from the +4s? What's the Ranged SAM doing these days? Don't let your memes be dreams! |
