@RandomGuy: An additional 16 seconds is not required for a BRD rotation. Your party doesn't know how to drop/invite people. I speak with quite a while with 99 harps, so if we can do it with four songs/BRD, you should probably step up your game.

@Jem: I'd say that's taking situational to a whole new level. It makes the assumption that you both haven't already used Troubadour for the rotation, and that you don't need it for the following one.
@ the first part, the game doesn't allow you to cast another spell for 2-3 sec, so 4 songs rng = 8sec, pianissimo has recast time 5 sec, pianissimo 4 songs to pld = 17 sec, Pianissimo at least 2 more songs to the whm = 10 sec, disband, invite lets say 2 sec, repeat.
1:10 for 2 pts buffs, let alone the 3rd pt that will need buffs, which if they are not N/T will need to be reapplied at separate intervals. Which goes right along with what I said barely able to play songs for 2 pts before N/T wears.
Now take away N/T for reapplying buffs, on a stacked brd you are looking at 6 sec between songs. x10 songs = 1 min per pt for 3:24 duration songs leaves almost no room for error between swapping all 3 pt and reapplying all songs with horn for full buffs. And as we all know there needs to be room for error when the ppl inviting have ***they need to be doing besides invites.
@ the second part, the whole point of using the 2 relic pieces for N/T is that both abilities will be up for the same duration to extend your buffing period, if you take away merits from one you ruin even having those pieces for the purpose intended.
The unerring effect is not just situational, I use it on any mob that has potential resist to elegy/nocturne/threnody at the end of a buff cycle, which is a nice perk almost everyday, as I play brd to almost every event. As Jem has also said, the only time we've saved and use Troubadour alone for an unerring affect has been Kurma, which should be defeated w/o brd or cor buffs anyway to prevent the resetting of dmg multipliers. Theres far more applications for brd to have 5/5 N/T than there is for your HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE 1 situation of dirge use.

Get 3 of each and then you're covered?!

At the moment I'd say Anni is the better bet. When the R/E/M's update come in future then it will probably be a bigger increase for Yoichi than Anni since there's a huge base DMG gap between Yoichi and Echidna's. Not so much for Anni and Donderbuss.

If you play SAM at all then probably Yoichi as the gap between the two isn't really that large.

Alright, was just concerned that the distance penalty would be problematic on annihilator. Thanks much for the info.

The distance penalty is universal for all ranged weapons if you're speaking specifically to accuracy. All ranged weapons are more accurate at melee range, and less accurate further away.

If you're talking about damage penalty then ignore me.

Theres far more applications for brd to have 5/5 N/T than there is for your HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE 1 situation of dirge use.

So in summary of your near unreadable response:

1) You can't overbuff your paladin without 5/5 N/T, which is an issue
2) You can't buff a third party, which I never suggested
3) The equipment you spent an hour augmenting no longer does what it originally did
3) Three borderline irrelevant debuffs that you could just spam without consequence until they land can't be applied in the first few seconds of a fight
4) Changing merits is too hard
5) Dispelling Kurma is somehow less niche than enmity reduction

And yet you still have yet to read the now three(?) times I've stated that Dirge doesn't turn out to be necessary.

Less time calling me HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE, more time on rudimentary literacy and reading comprehension

I imagine he was referring to the culmination of any penalties, but regardless, you're sure that the accuracy penalty works in this fashion? I was under the impression that the 'sweet spot' was ideal for both accuracy and damage

Edit: Having trouble finding anything to support that, or whether or not the accuracy penalties are a direct subtraction or more akin to level correction. The latter should be simple enough to deduce in practice, but I wouldn't trust the former unless someone did dedicated testing to confirm it

Edit2.0: Helel, do you know of any testing regarding the pDIF reduction on RA that are performed outside of the 'sweet spot'? Nothing seems to specify whether or not, again, this reduction is additive or multiplicative. The two would produce quite different results

This is my WS set for Namas for Odin v2 and fodder content

ItemSet 295797

With Delve bosses needing a lot of racc etc. What do you all think of this for Namas Arrow? I mean Namas is no Sidewinder( in terms of whiffing). I just wasn't sure how much racc to include in my WS set (if any).

ItemSet 302454

Thanks for your time!

ItemSet 277779

I just used my standard Namas Arrow set on bee, our 1st attempt, WS Accuracy was just fine, missed like one WS the entire fight.

Was only the Ranged Accuracy in TP set that was having issues.

Yeah I've never had Namas issues on the bee. TP phase can be ugly though.

Thank you all for the advice!

So if with 6-8 RNG/DRG's you cannot do in 25-30 minutes what 4 RNG/DRG's can do in 15 minutes then your RNG's simply are not pulling their weight. Hell if you cannot do it in 25-30 minutes with 4 RNG/DRG's then they are still not pulling their weight.
Either your RNG's are not performing to their potential or they are underbuffed.

Preludex2, Minuetx4, Etudex2?

At what point here do you think you are not going to buff that "underbuffed" RNG in the mage pt or the DRG for that matter.

If you even thought about what Jem has already suggested and has already used in their setups that have clearly gotten them wins, Separating the PLDs and puting them out of a whm pt is not smart.

PLD PLD DRG WHM BRD SCH - 2 song sets

RNG RNG RNG WHM COR BRD - 2 song sets

RNG RNG GEO RDM COR BRD - 2 song sets

sch can accession enmity + or - in far less casts, brds finish rotation faster and cast 4 less songs per pt, geo can recieve refresh 2 from rdm and probably wont need ballads.

The way you described was far less efficient or leaves ppl underbuffed.

Elegy, Nocturne, Threnody and Finale are borderline irrelevant debuffs? YA OK

I only copied his jobs in a different setup, I'd assume rdm for enfeeble, stun, Magic burst on twitherym, and to assist cures, which shouldn't really be needed with so many rng.

The whole point of that setup was that it didn't require relic RNG. And I was asking what her buffs were, not proposing ones for my alternative. Jem's is more efficient in every way. Back to the reading comprehension thing

The RDM was copied from a proposed setup of either yours or Jem's on BG. I don't remember who, though

I assumed it was a necessary component of capped pDIF. If that isn't the case, it should obviously be changed

That could certainly stand to benefit people on Muyingwa, but I imagine she's pretty resistant to it

I'll see if I can track down the reasoning for it from the thread, but Ccl would know better than I would if RDM has anything relevant to offer

Don't need rdm, dia II light shotX2 does the same thing as dia III.

Thought so, assumed that the incorporation was due to them allowing Light Shot to apply to Dia3 or something.

Like I said, don't recall the original reasoning, it was one of the aspects that I copied from the thread on BG

How would the following set up fair on the bee, this is what we probably will be using on our attempt.

rng rng rng rng sch cor
pld pld sch whm brd geo
drg thf cor brd smn ?

All rngs will have 99 annihilator or 99 yoichi(ranged acc aftermath hrmmm). I think it is a 2 for 2 split.
DRG is there to be decoyed shotted on, and do angon and extra DD.
THF is to feint during the auras every 25% (probably will only be up at 75% and 25%)
BRDS have 99 ghorn but only 90 harp so we are down to 6 songs instead of 8. So probably minuet x4, prelude x2.
SCH in rng pt with keep animus minuo and adoloquiem on rngs.
SCH in tank pt (we may not have a second sch and will probably be repped with another mage) will keep animus augeo on tanks and help heal etc. SCH in rng pt job is to also keep impact up as much as possible, probably every 25% when the aura pops.
The ? will probably be a strong DD since this set up seems it may be lacking DD. We may be able to bring a third annihilator.
What are the best 4 rolls for the cors for the rngs? Chaos and hunters are given. The other two should be two of the following 3 correct(?): Tacticians, samurais, coursiers.
The geo is doing topor and frailty (Is it feasible for the geo to stand in range of this mobs AOEs with pdt sets?)
Finally, is gravity II landable on this mob and is it worth bringing a rdm to gravity II? We are trying to lowers its evasion as much as possible through topor, diamond storm, feint, impact etc. Also does ice shot boost the potency of diamond storm?

You'll want the GEO in the RNG party with precision up to boost accuracy.

Gravity does not land. It might with ES.

Animus minuo is pointless for relic RNG, especially with annihilator (they already have -50 enmity with aftermath).

I'd recommend one party dedicated to regular melee jobs, just so you can kill the preceding 2 NMs faster.

RDM had no trouble curing PLDs even with zombie up, so I see no reason not to bring one. (this is in response to previous posts).

Yes.

Incase you are mathing the Racc. I just fixed the set to have the exact gear I used. The parse is also skewed by the blinks he gets, especially at lower HP.

We went /DRG and use a COR as a decoy dummy. Geno pulled hate but he probably wasn't managing his hate well.

The bee never came at me or Krisstina (99 Yoichis) but we were jumping everytime it was up.
