With SE not using a uniform method of describing Snapshot values, I'll wait until Aurora Beret +1 is tested before saying its a -10% reduction. It could be like Arcadian Braccae +1, and only give the face value, not the user made +1 = 2% model.

Pretty much this. Just because there's a nice table on BGWiki now doesn't make the data any more valid. The Snapshot testing thread that is tagged as reference has not had any notable update, mainly that Byrth's last word on there was that he didn't trust his results of 10% reduction from Iuitl/Gastraphates, but that didn't stop whoever editted the Wiki page from taking it as hard fact.

Flippant also posted a table many many pages back when this +1=2% discussion came up much more aggressively, essentially showing that most tested results did not line up with SE given results(via official SE guide or whatever) in a 2:1 ratio, and in fact the only ones that did were those two "uncertain" ones.

I wasn't sure else where to put this, so i'll post my data here for trueflight testing with weatherspoon ring.
I couldnt find any data on the ring being vanilla mab that only worked for light damage or if it was light affinity, so I swapped my ring and tested it myself a bit since I wanted to also see how much it pumped up trueflight damage.

Based on these tests, the light mab on it appears to be affinity damage as suspected. Weatherspoon ring boosting trueflight damage +8-9% is pretty amazing.

Never saw that post, must've snuck by... any particular reason you're wearing dread and arcadian instead of things that actually improve trueflight damage?

Anyway, came to look for some funsies info, any idea what the STP is for tenzen's bow for x-hits?

In the last 10 pages all I could find was:

Didnt have orion+1 body on me for testing.
Its an AGI mod magic ws that also uses PlayerAgi-MonsterInt in part of the formula, gear with alot of AGI was used in slots I didn't have a mab+agi option.
The point of the post was to collect some data+verify the affinity bonus of the weatherspoon ring, not showcase omgdamage numbers or present a best trueflight ws set.

Well, I finally finished my Annihilator, and I'm pretty excited to start using it. I've checked the last few pages, and unless I'm blind (which is completely possible), I haven't seen any Annihilator sets. Would pure STR be superior for Coronach instead of AGI/DEX? If anybody wouldn't mind posting some helpful sets for a new user, I'd be greatly appreciative.

Found this a handful of pages back, I'd post my own but I deleted all of my sets when I stopped playing and don't feel like re-punching the numbers. Seems fine to me at a glance though I haven't kept up entirely with new gear.

STR is better than gearing for DEX/AGI, assuming fSTR2 is uncapped, which it should always be unless you're doing Delve 1.0 with absolutely perfect buffs. I was floored on VD Divine Might and still uncapped on Delve 2.0 despite having capped attack. Arcadian Beret +1, as well as a handful of other options he uses like earrings will vary depending on if you have a COR and what hit build you're trying to achieve with it. 3-hit is possible with Samurai Roll, but requires some pretty heavy STP in your TP set and some in your WS that may not be available to you - meaning if you can't a 3-hit reliably anyways you can drop out some of those WS choices for max damage options.

I haven't kept up with the new numbers on STP, but when the new COR ring first hit I believe we punched it out to needing 42 STP in TP and 21 in WS. Assuming you had a Samurai Roll of at least 7(with +5 ring), and all shots, including WS with a proc on Arcadian Beret.

Not sure if I missed this somewhere in the thread. I had a question about the functionality of sharpshot on orion braccae. Does it only trigger prior to sharpshot activation, during it being active or is it a full time effect. I wanted to use them as a midshot piece. Thanks in advance

macro them in for sharpshot activation, then you can take them off and keep the augment until sharp wears off.

Ok thanks. I'm currently stage 3 yoichi hope to be finishing neXT week. I'm working on finalizing my gs setups. I'm looking for some racc ranges to ensure my midacc and highacc sets are on point. I'm not looking for a 4 hit atm as I'm missing trupidio strap and staff, despite our dm2 spam. If anyone could supply some ballpark racc numbers unbuffered to shoot for. I have all reforged +1 kyu vanir knife and atoyac missing meebles belt. Probably using high tier D and VD as references. And yes I realize it will be rare to be unbuffered in those situations just looking for a sold baseline

If you went with 10 stp in coronoch (losing the trip earring)

I've taken up RNG, and I would love to know optimal sets so I can put it into a GS file and know what gears to get for when I get 99, but this guide still has spellcast and old empy gears for a lot of things =/

You'll have to dig through this thread. There's been plenty of good sets posted over the past 6 months. All of which should still be relatively close to optimal.

honestly, I would start about ~20 pages back. I think it was around the mid-fifties where the updated sets are located.

What augments do you have on atoyac? and also what do you mean by 15 stp on coronach or 10 strp on coronach how do you do that?

The comment about 15/10 stp that lim quoted from me about 30 pages back, is that, when you ws its usually in kyudo/raja/tripudio.

I have some sets that are semi updated, from december, ill put em up to save a lot of digging. Skotes are 5STP, Qaaxo are path C, Lutian cap has NO AUG. If you got a lutian aug, you could change things around. I had DPS values for them... But i deleted them qq, the dps values are from highest to lowest, the higher the DPS the lower the RACC.
They assume 15 stp in coro, and they list recyles/stats

I was faced with that same dilemma, like a year ago. I had a really hard time putting together a 3/4 recycle set w/o kyojutsugi.

I ended up using:

It's not a great set, but it'll get you by for now, the only problem is you have to coronach in 15 stp so you can't change either ring/back.

Or, subbing sam, Or using Mekki Shekki/Bloodrain grip, and taking away some STP from the builds.

Aetosaur trousers +1 could also help in case you want to use another back, or have been unlucky on S.kotes, or just need STP +5 somewhere without sacrificing racc.

Do you guys have any ranger gs lua?

Can the "precast" "midcast" sets be used without using GS? just in-game macros? I dont want to use gearswap add-on. So id basically set a mac to equip my snapshot set then /ra <t>. then after shot animation starts hit a seperate mac to equip a TP set.
