Going to need more data for confirmation. I'm still pretty certain that Enmity Loss calculation only factors in the base HP before Max HP Boost from Drain III.

I'll have to run it by Martel and see if he knows.

Regardless, more data is needed as that sample size is far too small.

Exactly. Its static and always the same if you control everything as I did. I double checked it for with and without drained HP and the result was the same.

@Rua Not sure what you want me to do, but I probably wont do anything more anyway, because that took way too many time already. I will wait till you make your own test and if you get opposite result, we can start this discussion again.

I'm kind of going nuts on my Odyssean VIT/WSDMG augs.

So many stones are being wasted when they roll Fast Cast/Cure Pot. Received/Enmity/Etc

Oseem is being "That guy"
I'm trying to squeeze out some extra accuracy in my Torcleaver/Upheaval/Steel Cyclone set.

Idk if it’s just my luck but I’ve always had tough times getting good augs on both Val and Odys gear compared to Herc/Merlinic/Chironic.

Just keep rolling I guess :/

I have 8% wsd odyssean gloves with some vit on top of that. I wish i could trade them to other char (Warrior), because on main I only have DRK and I dont really like Torcleaver :) I guess they are still good for few other less mainstream WSs on DRK tho.

The Ambu GAXE is pretty sweet with Drain 3 up. If you need a change of pace I'd try it out. Sadly it even has more accuracy than Calad.

Scythe ftw!

Also Taru holds great sword (and great katana) in very anticlimactic way.

Seems accurate. Whenever I use Caladbolg it seems as powerful as hitting something with a chair :)

So with Father Time, I'm thinking of Path B. What did you guys go with?

Path A: I have Caladbolg for white dmg, though +25 stp was tempting.
Path C; I have R15 Apoc/Helm Scythe for Drainy Goodness.

I figure having a 50% follow up attack rate would do well since CR would benefit from TP overflow. Subtle Blow II is also something different.

PathB for subtle blow build if you care. Path C for bis drain.

While pathB is more tempting because its horizontal upgrade and gives you some situational unique alternatives, path C will be used more even when its basicaly 5% drain for 150M gils.

I did Path C personally for BiS drain and currently rely on Apoc/Caladbolg for DPS.

Not sure why anyone would use father time for dps when anguta and liberator exist or even apoc.

Pretty much the reason I was asking. Wasn't too sure which path to take with it, and options are a good thing to have.

I don't think I'll have Liberator for awhile since I'm going to prioritize Gastra. The only thing either don't get is Follow Up Attacks/SB II.

Already have Apoc/Calad at R15, debating on taking Anguta to R15 (Is it even worth it?)

Anguta is a big scythe.
It hits hard, and makes big skillchains, but that's about it.

It is a good weapon, but its bland. Of all the REMA Drk gets, I personally find Anguta to be the least interesting to use. Sure, I'll R15 mine someday, but its even going to be behind Redepmtion as the last Drk REMA I complete.

If you like it, by all means invest in it, don't let my stance on what is and isn't fun run your decisions.

R15 Liberator is fun as hell. Highly recommend.

Imo no reason to do anything other than path C Father Time and only if you’re min maxing.

Working on brd horn Aeonic atm. Anguta definitely next.

I have calad r15 but I’m a scythe fan boy

One more dumb question, Path C also has WSDMG.

Is this the unique type that applies to all hits? I'm asking since it's a Ranked Augment. Just wondering if anyone ever tested that out.

Never cared to test that, it gets used for drain and that’s it for me

I use anguta for niche stuff, like thinker where I don't want calad AM3 and want to auto attack as little as possible and WS as often as possible, Kin is another example. Probably wouldn't RP it either. Between apoc lib and calad that's really all you need but each tool has use in niche circumstances.

Well I think with monk being in meta now people finally realized how powerful can situationally be fulltime 75% subtle blow in lowman setup. Path B would be used exactly for that situations.

Edit: you also have absorb tp, which mixed with 75 subtle blow set can potentially really shut down tp feed by quite a lot.
Edit2: you also dont really need /sam that much, so you can go /nin and limit tp gain from hitting you too (or use seigan third eye with /sam during last resort)

Can probably build a mnk for cheaper than a father time if that's what you want haha. But yeah I guess I can see that super niche use, wouldn't use it myself but hey it's there I guess.

The problem with Father Time's subtle blow path is that it comes with the FUA +50% path; it hitting the enemy a lot more will mostly offset the subtle blow.

That’s not really the point of SB. You still want max swings per round just minimizing TP feed.

It’s not like you remove qa/TA/da gear in your SB set.

Lol this is completely irrelevant. That follow up attack still give you TP. Its like saying monk shouldnt be using tons of multihit to make SB effective. If what you mean is that you will hit faster than you can completely shut down TP moves with absorb TP, then just simply use less haste or less multithit. Normally tho, SB set is meant to lower TP feed in relation to your damage and follow up attack feed TP but also give TP.
