It was signaled in the guide too, just under the guns.

What's the best Xhit u can achieve with 480 delay and still be viable? I was thinking 6 hit possibly.

According to STP calculator, 29 STP with delay 480 gun give you 6 hit, 35 STP with delay 600 gun give you 5 hit, 30 STP with delay 660 give you 5 hit too.

Looks like a 6 hit would be viable for Death Penalty, at least for newer content. Don't wanna sacrifice to much Racc for STP. Maybe for old content a 5 hit could work unless once again I'm losing to many other stats and not gaining on my DPS.

I still have to get the new Delve dagger, Sabebus, I've read here that the M.Acc is pretty good on it if you can't get Vanir Knife.

Sabebus has identical M.Acc/Dagger Skill to Vanir (though obviously differs in other stats).

Nearly all item level 119 weapons have the same M.Acc+188. IIRC, no 119 weapon has lower M.Acc, but a handful are higher (Staves, Clubs, NIN JSE Katana, etc.)

I used to duo salvage with pup/thf using ranged auto the cor/whm for heals if needed and WF/LS spam this took trash and bosses down so quick.

Can do salvage with anything, I don't see a biggie into this discussion. Maybe a more efficient job can do it 10 minutes faster, but the fact is you can complete it with anything, so might as well use what you enjoy using the most.

Shrug shrug.

Well, what I mean was, a R15 cost around 6M after all. If you wanna spend 12M on 2 daggers and optimize, you may as well optimize in higher lv content.

I am assuming here that you aren't calculating this utilizing the delay of the ammo you have cause that does affect this. With a 480 gun using a 240 Delay ammo(Adlivun Bullet) you should be getting 17.1 TP per shot with only 8 STP in gear. I am using Vulcan's Staff + Bloodrain Strap with the only other STP source being Volley Earring. That is a 6-hit.

Added 240 delay from ammo, using calculator:
For delay 480 gun:
Need 6 STP for 6 hit(16.8 TP each)

Edit: To get 6 STP while maintaining max racc and QD acc, ideally you want to swap your earring into STP+5 DM2 earring and volley.

Yeah you could change that. I personally changed my weapons into Bloodrain (6 STP) and the Vulcan's Staff and still use Clearview as my second earring.

Looking at the guide, I can see Sigyn's and Moepapa for optimal Last Stand pieces. Wouldn't Lanun (+1) beat Sigyn at least? Or is there something more to marksmanship skill than 1atk/1acc (ish)?

Yeah the difference is minimal, Lanun is superior for modifier and str. You just lose 1 acc and the enmity- but it's no biggie.

Not really. Unless you are a rng, you can always store the full reforged with one mog porter item, while sygn would have an extra item, unless you uses other pieces.

Lanun is good for snapshot/ra TP/WS/req and JA macro if you're using it for w/e reason.

Sygn is only good for ra TP/WS/enmity-. You can just carry 1 Lanun and gtfo if inv is an issue!

You can store Sigyn stuff on Porter Moogle too (slip 14). Same slip that stores Neo Nyzul Isle gear and all Salvage v2 gear (+1 sets, all of the new sets like Sigyn, and all of the 45 armors), plus the Einherjar II items. I'm guessing most serious players have at least a few pieces of those, making Porter slip worth it.

Our new job points:

Cutting Card effect:
Reduces the recast time of applicable special abilities.
Reduce recast time by 1 percent.

Bust evasion:
Grants a chance to avoid busting.
Increase probability by 1 percent.

I'd still prioritize the previous two they added.

So other than job points here are the corsair news:

Homestead gun: I haven't checked yet where it comes from(PK rank 8?), but it has stupid high damage(but oddly less skill).

Shneddick tights +1: best WF and QD damage pants, unless you want the extra enmity- on Lak+1.

Acumen ring: long awaited decent mab ring!

Longshot ring: not bad for Last Stand when you want the extra accuracy I guess.

Did some Wizard's Roll testing, this seems like as good a place as any to share the numbers:

Without job bonus:
1: +4
2: +6
3: +8
4: +10
5: +25
6: +12
7: +14
8: +17
9: +2
10: +20
11: +30
bust: -10

I didn't test all numbers with job bonus active, but here are the ones I did:
With job bonus:
2: +16
4: +20
8: +27
10: +30
11: +40

I think we can conclude that the job bonus gives a flat 10 MAB increase.

I used a Pulfanxa to test, comparing base damage to buffed damage and solving the difference for MAB.
