Ya need to solo something out of the ordinary. Everyones soloed what you have posted so far.

I'm soloing Aura Statues trying to get the dang Diorite to solo Ulli...
I also solo'd Irza Ima and Cheese Hoarder Gigiroon. You should try em, Irza is a walk, Cheese is fun.

Those arent the hard stuff that is the typical im a decently gear/merited rdm yay lets practice for the hard stuff or make some cash

On Gaurda. Like hell Asura has those NMs up at any time (bot camped ftl)
Since nobody camps ***on Garuda, that was the only way to do it.
I'll give you a hint. Garuda kite (if you have enmity- gear on, you won't hold hate, so all Gaurda has to do is autoattack and you get nothing) with PCs going with you in the background soloing anything with a pulse for Spirit Taker.
Just make sure you are VERY far away from the NM so you have pleanty of time to summon Garuda and {Run Away!}

I mean how long ago? I remember thfs used to solo that all the time. Hell I duo i with a drg all the time and he could easily solo with some prep

Yeh I've soloed all that stuff. And because of that I empathize my comment simply because I thought it was going to be tough, then I found it wasn't tough, I feel RDM soloing skill is just to easy now, to much access to things.
I cheer the people who solo stuff on jobs that don't usually solo things. For example the solo SMN mentioned above, though again that method is easy. Smn, Assault, Run away, Repeat.
I myself am taking Ninja quite far in soloing things. Straight up fighting methods.

When you micromanage redmage, of course you can solo anything. That's not the point of making these. It's not so he can be the FIRST, it's the dude wanting to make cool videos for himself to be proud of and/or laugh at or enjoy and share with other people.

You're 100% right. Not everyone can solo what you did, simply because not everyone uses the ability to JA0 Wait hack the way you blatently decided to.
It's nice to be able to cast spells and get around the ability to not get the "Spell bind" effect you get as you finish casting, but is this something you should be "proud" of or sharing? The one thing that stands out from your vids and all the other RDM solo vids is the use of that game breaking ability.
GJ soloing, great vids and I hope you got the best drops outta doing em.~

Besides all I said was what you've soloed is what tons of people do every day, on every server. Hell about 10 people in my ls, solo all that *** + more just for the LS items. All Sea stuff, SCNM. They just dont think it's all that good and go and youtube it because well, a lot of people do it, at least on my server :P

Then you go solo all the stuff Avesta has solo'd or others, make videos and you'll get the praise you deserve instead of coming off very smug. =d
It isn't about being very special pre tel. It's about being able to show that you can do it because there are people who actually need skill to solo a lot of the stuff that RDMs do solo. That's all he's showing is that he's got the skill. =\
How exactly is he casting and moving w/o spell fail from interrupt? ... Like in that Zippie vid, I see him hit the bind macro, then start moving away and the spell still fired off? ;>.>

It can happen more often than you'd guess. Time it just right in the casting time and you can move and still have spells go off without interrupting.

It's easy to do with gear swaps pre-cast, but that seems a little more blatant. Usually there's a middle-ground between being able to run out of it and getting locked down while the animation is present, or having it fail to cast. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like he's moving a little pre-mature for the spells still being successful. Also, tarus are weird.
