Wouldn't you need to use Icarus Wing 2nd since it gives Medicated?

you get 3 wings in abyssea, 1 aoe, 1 gives 100 and the 3rd gives 300

Its daedulus not Icarus then, Icarus is buyable, Daedulus is R/E w/ that 13 WS latent on Skean dagger can do w/ that set and macro another Darkness with MS after the Rudra's darkness if you change daggers and use the 3rd TP wing.

It wouldn't crit but it'd be awesome to watch xD

Also Byrth, you said the Gorget/Belt combo barely pulls ahead due to us being starved for attack.

I'm probably pulling at strings here, but what about Gorget/Cuch?

Afaik, dnc/sam should be able to double darkness for a x1.75 dmg SC + traits

Sekka PK -> Evi -> RF -> Rudra's would do it.

You could open up the set up with a Presto->CF->NFR->Step, which would give you x5 crits for your set up and x5 finishes to open.

PK->Evi = darkness and Evi->Rudra's = darkness, should work.

The better question is, what kind of monster would be able to survive such a horrifying wave of damage, that also is the kind of monster you can ssafely drop yourself down to baseline tp against?

I would love to see this skillchain on a fortification, gogo triple digit skillchain!

I would like to know how much damage you are getting with
Climactic + Rudra's outside abyssea.

For my part, with Daka+2, i was getting around 1.5k on ants in WoE.

just did salvage earlier, was doing 4k~5k rudras on the regular mobs and that was with me missing my hand equip until the last boss and no stat boost for the majority of the time. idk if it matters but i was doing over 8k on the portal birds.

4k on things in B? Is this rampart mobs or the actual things up to the boss like gears?

On normal monsters it was ~1.4k before we got DEX. Went up over 2k (2.2k? 2.5k?) on LBC. Ramparts monsters max was ~8.6k.

well the atmas i was using other than RR were eva/crit atmas, so they didn't really do much for shark bite. the cruor buffs did, but that means you can pump out som impressive ones outside.

what do you think this does for /sam? the ability to 4ish ws with the crit bonus is pretty good. not that anything would likely live that long...

I went DNC/SAM to Tahrongi. No Attack food or buffs, killed the Mandy NM in three weaponskills (and two Darknesses).

Sekka -> Building -> Climactic -> NFR -> Presto -> Step -> Evisceration -> Rudra's -> Reverse -> Rudra's

The duration and lenience of Climactic is actually kind of nice, because it frees us to re-build the FMs we lost before we start whatever big fancy thing we're doing. If I'm just going Rudra's -> Rudra's and starting with 300TP though (/NIN), I don't Box until after the first Rudra's so I can get AM3.

i was bored during maint and playing around with double march/haste and /sam. you can get a 8tp/hit pretty easy.

I did ~3k to a VT neutral-defense bat in the basement of Garliage Citadel. Also, I'm finding that even without NFR back up, I can do:
5 FMs -> Climactic -> Presto -> Step -> Rudra's -> Reverse -> 3~4x rounds -> Rudra's

I get the crit boost bonus on both of my Rudra's. The part of climactic that I really hated (only forcing the first hit of each round to crit) is turning out to be a real boon.
