im not sure how i feel about losing a chance to make a skillchain with it

Evisceration -> Reverse Flourish -> Step -> Climactic -> Rudra's

Spam Evisceration for sure, or Dancing Edge outside Abyssea. It still only lets the first hit crit.

couldn't you still climax > step > rudra > reverse > evis ?

Okay, some clarification:
* The damage bonus of Charis Tiara +2 is separate from Critical Attack Bonus, which is good for us.
* The Tiara does have to be worn when the hits are landing in order to maintain the Damage+20%.
* Now we can use Loki's Kaftan during Rudra's for a larger TP return and +5% crit damage.
The downsides:
* We can DA on the first hit, but we cannot Critical Hit it, similar to Sneak Attack.
* lol4 hour maintenance.

Why would you use it over Striking? Same recast, more finishing moves, and Striking makes it DA still.
1:30 recast versus 2:00, 100% crit rate on first hit vs. 50% crit rate on 2 hits, 20% additional damage that doesn't count toward Critical Attack Bonus cap + additional 5% CAB from ability to use Loki's.
After doing some more dicking around, I can be pretty confident that it's 50%ish and not much higher. I just stopped updating that page and started updating this one:

It's a noble goal, but I'd probably do:
5 FM Climactic -> Presto -> Box Step -> Rudra's -> NFR -> Reverse -> Rudra's
Really, even 2 FM Climactic would work fine. That's 3 rounds, so you have one flub one if it slips through between the two Rudra's.

If you're spamming JAs without a ton of auto-attacks in between, this should work!
Haha, now I can't wait to try this out in Abyssea. I'm totally going RR/Omni/SS when the servers come back up to see if I can one-shot NMs with a self skillchain, haha.
