I just don't see another reason other than griefing for killing a random charmed person you don't know if they aren't actively attacking you :\

only situation i think i mentioned above i could see is if they were all charmed and you were gonna claim a mob... polish them off first.. though it might be easier to sleepga a large group then claim :o
