Went to log into FFXIV to find my time has expired. Then I realized .... I don't really care lol. I can wait till the patch comes out.

Good(?) news: the Rift of Recollection Omega fight has no record synergy at all, so you don't need to worry about FFV characters for that (though you might want some for later). :x

Aside from that, we should be getting the Big Bridge Showdown event in a couple of weeks anyway.
Bartz, Gilgamesh and Galuf are available, as are their Memory Crystals + Lenna's.

It also gives us Wind Jump for Dragoons, and Thundaga Strike.

A few weeks after that event, however, a new difficulty will be making it's appearance in events beyond the +++ battles; "Misfortune" battles.
The first being an FFV one, rewarding the Cursed Ring (DEF +15, MAG +20).


Anwyay, we should have a couple of months to prepare for that stuff yet. o-o;

Bleh, I want to play Fallout 4 when it comes out but I think both my CPU and GPU need a major upgrade before I could play it swimmingly at 1080p.
