I hate how listening to good music keeps me up when I should be sleeping. :/ On the other hand, it's nice to see that there are some songs that I still enjoy now that I enjoyed back when I was younger.
Getting ready to go out tonight. Husband's band is playing a local festival thingy. My birthday and a couple other friends' birthdays are all within a week of each other, so we were going to celebrate our birthdays tonight. But with our friend killing herself, it's turning into a sortof tribute for her. Part of me just wants to stay home because I don't think I can deal with seeing everyone tonight. I'm pondering getting a "headache" and staying in.
aww Happy Birthday Lian, and my condolences, but you should go out. It might actually help you cope if you can do it with others.
I went to my friends funeral and it helped a lot to talk about all the good times we all had back in high school together.

Everyone's depending on me to be the one they can lean on. I'm the "den mother". I don't want to be. I'm supposed to have all of these encouraging words for everyone, and they're not there. I just want to get ***faced drunk, but that's going to be hard to accomplish because my mother-in-law is going to be there >.<
Idk I find some ways it's easier to be the one people lean on. Distracts you from how you feel about stuff. Nice to help out and such. And it's easier to feel better when people around you are

You guys are probably right. I haven't seen some of my friends in a couple months, I'm a bit of a recluse. It'll probably be good for all of us. I'm just all sorts of blah today. This too shall pass.
Do it anyway ;) Just tell her ahead of time not to judge you but to let you cope the way you want to cope.

I had Long Islands for everyone last night. It was a very good night, a lot of good energy, everyone's spirits were up. All the bands were *** amazing. It's way too early for me to be up, but I feel good about it :D

This is me everytime. I make plans that im excited about but once it get close to the time I just lose intrest and dont feel like going. But I always have fun and am glad I stuck with it.
