I would say there are things we can control, but not that we have conquered it. Also, I think starvation issues are due more to poor distribution of resources than pure overpopulation. It is alarming how quickly the population is expanding though.

You could almost argue that natural evolution has still taken place. Nature created man with the capacity to think and to solve problems. I think it's curious that evolutionists say we're stopping evolution. However, evolution is inevitable you just have to understand it's form. We're not a spieces that needs claws, or more legs, or to fly. We're a species that needs to solve problems and increase MENTAL ability. If you believe in evolution you MUST believe that everything that humans have done is completely NATURAL. If it was not natural it could not exist now could it?

Starvation is a necessary evil. Hell, even humans know that animals shouldn't grow beyond their means. "Have your cat and dog spade or neutered." But most people can't look at their own species to see that. Sure, it's mean to look at starving kids in Africa and have no remorse, but if you fed and cared for everyone over-population would be an even larger problem than it is now. They should just learn to not have kids. If a cat has a bunch of kittens, the cat mother usually neglects the runt because they know it won't make it out in the real world.
