I dont see a problem with any of this. Schools only inact these policies because they're tired of law suits from *** hole parents who don't want to take responsibility for their own kids.
They took away my nieces food. All of it, not just the sandwich. So *** them and their idiotic policies.

This is only a small part of the problems I've seen with the schools around here (and my nieces school..I have plenty of stories of this place) but damn.. I'm so sure that sandwich magically transferred non existent dust into the air inside that brown bag and reopening it would result in mass child death...And these are people working in places we send our kids for education, seriously...A sandwich which still can't hurt anyone since they aren't aloud to share and they watch so closely they saw the sandwich in the 1st place...I'm wondering if they walk over and open every kids sandwich or what.

As for the squirt gun thing I think it's reasonable. There is absolutely no reason to have a squirt gun in school.
Kids leave things in their pockets. Expelling for an empty squirt gun is a bit much yeah? This was a random check everyones lockers + coat pockets on the coat rack thing. When I was a kid in 2nd grade I had a popgun (little paper reel that made popping sounds) in my pocket from playing the day before, it fell out when I hung my coat up. I didn't even know I still had it there. It was taken away and my punishment for not keeping better track of my possessions was my teacher threw it away. In todays world I'd be expelled or possibly be in the news treated like I had an actual firearm. That is just *** absurd.

perhaps it was a masterminded plan to fire peanutbutter out of a super-soaker and kill all the allergic kids. Dear god, we have a criminal genius.
This made my drink come out my nose which sprayed poor Kenny from southpark who is allergic and died. This means you killed Kenny, you ***.

If schools are allowed to ban certain foods because some other kid might have an allergy to it, then by the same standards supermarkets should be forced to take those same products off their shelves for the same reason.

Taking a child's lunch off them just because 1 of them has an allergy isn't a good enough excuse, they`re already told they cant share food.

And to send the child home starving after taking their lunch away is inexcusable.

Well like I said the school board doesn't give a ***. It's easier for them not to worry about that stuff but parents have turned out school system into a daycare center the whole way up to 12th grade. I'm sorry your niece had to go to school with a bunch of *** retards but I highly suggest you take her to a private school. Public education no longer qualifies as real education.

I would like to see schools be privatised and government money given to parents to spend on private schools. Grades would be better and retards would be less. I would rather see a system where schools have to compete for the best students and get government grants and pay increases based on individual performance. Economic incentive in the private industry has always been the driving power behind our historically powerful economy. I think it's time to realize that state programs are doomed to failure because there's no incentive for them to ever be better.

I just explained that you would eliminate public schools and use that money to give vouchers for parents to pick schools of their choice.

That sounds good, but to bad it'll never actually happen. Current public school staff would fight it and the government won't want to move funds from public schooling to pay for our kids going to a private school.

I think Jet was referring to the suggestion my niece go to a private school; and like many we can't afford that.

Of course they wont because the teachers union is one of the biggest backers of Democrat campaigns. Teachers dont give a *** about your kids, they just want an easy job with summers off, a pension, and very low standards of work. Disgusts me.

There are a few good teachers out there yet. They just get harder to find as they change careers. And most aren't lazy bums either even when they suck/aren't bright.

As an aside, have anyone else noticed people being stupid in the manner we've been discussing after they have had or work with kids? I've known some really intelligent people who seemed to have lost all good sense as soon as they had kids or started working in a field that put them with children(daycare, school, etc). Whats up with that?

let me get this right. They want us to have work twice as much to pay the taxes they continue to pass. Then they want to tell us what we can and can not buy with the rest of our money. Now they wanna tell me I cant buy my son a burger that comes with a toy? Whats next Burger King gonna be made to remove the play area because it attracts kids? These things are not bringing kids to fast food restraunts no more then, a ad in a porn mag for cig's was getting teens to smoke this is another way to say "Im in control *** you all".

about the food thing once more:

i would never forbid my kids to eat fast food, i would just try to define how often they eat it. and of course how much of it. like... one cheese burger + fries on a sunday afternoon wouldnt kill them once every 2 weeks.

on the other hand... sometimes when i see that certain kind of families at mc donald's... fatass mum, fatass dad, both look like they have no job and 4 fat kids and the social care paid their 20 burgers. makes me wanna puke. (social care in germany pays you A LOT when you have kids. sometimes jobless ppl w/ 4 kids have more money overall than a family where both parents have decent jobs lol. they even get a house for free and other stuff.)

well... sorry, i got kinda random.

i'm a lazy bum. the only reason i'm good at english is that i HAD to learn it in order to understand what i wanted to read / watch =)
by now i even enjoy reading / watching stuff in english. i barely have any german books at home. i even bought an US PS2 on ebay for which i needed a converter, so i could buy games at NA release date <.<
