I like winning a friendly $500 dollar tournament with quad 4's.
4 is my lucky number.

I used to play with buddies, but I kinda took it too seriously, they were never into it as much as me.

done a few tournaments too, those are fun. I've played hold'em once in a seedy place in London, never again lol I thought I was going to die.

I went to about 3 regular groups before I moved, my cousins game, a FOAF game, and a free game that had cash payouts at a local bar.
the FOAF game was the best since it was consistently 16 man tourneys where my cousins room was badass but varied between 6-20+ people.

Heh, I find myself lucky with 9's even though they can be undesirable at times.

one guy i worked with was a gamer dude, he played guild wars though. So had a good laugh with him, sundays were good too lol. 8 hour shift, 2 guys behind the counter... 5 girls. Was a good laugh >.>

All of the people I worked with were neds tbh lol.

Hmm, alot were at the store i was at, guess i got lucky. I was down at customer services, so they didnt want neds there... I once ID'd a guy for cigs and his only response was this "*** off, gimme the ***" I didnt know whether to be angry or laugh. He said it with the straightest face too.

meh *** 21 most tables are running like 7 decks and they catch card counters easy. I used to work with a guy that got banned from Lake Tahoe for counting cards. They watch the single deck tables.

lol well this is what works for me. I go to a casino i come up with a comfortable number in my head before entering and say this is my limit, I can not cross this limit and I am 100% perfectly fine with dumping this amount.

one of the times i did end up crossing the limit though i was down $500 already and said *** it $200 more and then I'm out. Ended up building my stack and had about $2300 in front of me straight up running this table against great players it was *** amazing my best run ever at a cash table. People were so mad they couldn't believe what I kept hitting they were just throwing their money at me trying to catch me. Most of the table was on tilt it was awesome. ONNNNNLY reason I even left was because I had to make it to an A's game with my girlfriends (wife now) Dad. Probably for the best though, I felt like I couldn't lose a hand but it forced me out way on top :P

I had so many people accosting me for not selling them *** when they were clearly not 16, got threatened a few times too :/

I think it's funny we went from being frugal with our money to gambling in subject matter.

haha, yeh the threats are what make it worth while man. I have a bad habbit of not being able to take anyone seriously that threatens me. One day i swear its gnuna get me in trouble XD But they fired me on suspicion of stealing money from the till (24/7 CCTV clearly shows i didnt lol) and giving customers things for free lol. So i dont think im gunna get a job like that again. Which i suppose is good, dead end job getting me no where =/

It's good I suppose, Tesco is pretty dead end. I'd like to get to a managerial level of employment but It's horrible in Tesco. Good money but awful work place imo.

The secret to fixing the economy/unemployment/poverty:

Get rid of all the HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE government programs that are inefficiently giving money to people who are not working etc. Use the money saved by doing this to lower taxes on individuals and small businesses. Small businesses will be able to afford to hire more workers, and expand into larger businesses. Those who were living off of government money will be forced to get a job to survive, which will not be a problem because of the increase in jobs available. The economy booms.

The thought that heavily taxing the rich and giving it to the poor is a good idea is simply idiotic. It simply creates businesses with no ability to expand, and a large population of government free riders. The rich are those who own and operate businesses. They earned the money they have by getting an education, taking risks, and working hard. It is not the right of the unemployed to get this money freely from taxpayers.

I agree. When I was in college/high school, I hopped onto the "hate big business train" and senselessly attacked them for "hoarding" their money. Yes, CEOs get paid wayyyyyy too freaking much for the jobs they currently do, but they took the risks(or had the money to create a business). And employees benefit from those risks by working for their living. The only big businesses you can really get mad at are the ones who abuse China's cheap labor to their benefit.

Sure, buying shoes are 3 dollars cheaper at Walmart. And buying clothes that weren't made in America are probably more well designed or have a popular name on them, but buying products made in America and from businesses based in America give support to America. I'd encourage Brits to do the same thing with England. There will always be products that you simply can't purchase from your own nation, so it's not like I'm saying international trade should be stopped.

a car isnt a necessity sweetie to all people, you have to take in the consideration on where a person may live vs to whats available around them (you, sound like you NEEDED a car). my city for example new york... has great transportation system in all reality i feel that if your struggling have a car and live within a city that has a good city transportation system a car isnt needed. now considering this idk how other country's run their living expenses but usually a place in which is less populated houses and/or apartment will be way less then what it would compared to a city where the population is greater. which makes up for if you need to buy a car or not… a city which is more populated would normally have a good transit system for the people to utilize, period.

but on the topic on hand... food stamp usage, how its SUPPOSE to work is if youre in need of extra cash for the time being your given government assists to help you for a CERTAIN PERIOD OF TIME... this is what people dont understand, food stamps is given to an individual to help him/her on their feet intill they can stand up on their own, with human society ALOOOOT of people just receive welfare and just stay there just cause there lazy and dont want to do ***... welfare is to help people intill they get something better. example: your struggling u get welfare and youre in school getting an education so you can get a better job vs to a person in which he/she gets welfare and keeps the same *** job & not striving to get a better one nor not going to school to better themselves. so in all reality welfare/ food stamps isnt a bad thing nor is it good... its just the way people use it that makes in a bad thing

If you didn't have to work for a living, nothing would happen. You certainly wouldn't have Final Fantasy XI(a product made in Japan so that the developers could make money to live). You wouldn't have electricity because people wouldn't run the wire to your house, nobody would work at an electric company. I don't know what dream world(loldisneyland) you're living in to think that "technology" will allow people to live and have it where people can just sleep all day and everything still runs.

Nobody would bother farming crops, so people wouldn't have anything to eat,(sarcasm) but that's fine because we have technology. Technology means we don't have to do these trivial things, and we don't need to do silly things like "work".(/sarcasm)

you wanna know another thing that makes no sense... Gypsies. Now, we have our own public transport system down here in the form of passenger buses and taxis, but these sniveling sacs of worthless flesh sneak in and steal passengers/profit. Most of these horse *** are illegal and are not even from here half the time. I saw five of them pick up passengers with two cop cars looking on, and the cops did nothing.
