More fun: put a kitten in a room with only vertical lines and striped paint without horizontal lines and it watch what happens after a few weeks when you put it on a table.
Same thing with putting a newborn kitten in dark room for a couple of months and than exposing it to light. :x

Yeah, it's not so much physics since it's more about how the brain interprets the light that enters our eyes. But there's always a section on waves in Physics 1... I'm not sure why.
