I just want to thank Kazenkujin for helping me with Red Mage when I started the game. Thanks for accepting me in to your prestigious academy for Red Mages. Thanks to my best friend Enjoisippi for helping me along the way and being such a good help in game and irl. Thank you Okita for showing me the ways of mythic making. Thank you Sephrin for supplying me with quite a bit of Alexandrite when I first made this amazing sword last year. And lastely thank you Bestienmeister for helping me though Salvage, Einherjar, and Nyzul Isle (RIP you are missed buddy) wish we could have finished your mythic before you left us. And to my friends who don't play anymore but we had great times together Kumiho, Jonesin, Oxblood. This has been an amazing 5 years of my life. 4 months in the making and it's finally done!! It's been less stressful than getting a harp to 99! This is possibly because there are a lot of awesome people who helped/kept me company along the way. Since the viability of Trust-soloing third-wave Arciela on SCH came up, I actually had an opportunity to test it out and I can say for certain it's entirely possible. Cast helices based on the day into Ascension or Descension, not against them and use NPC's that complement you tanking as opposed to an NPC tank. She has not one single physical source of damage, so she cannot hurt you if you keep Regen on. It didn’t take very long for August to bite the dust. As for her choice of Naakuals, I got Kumhau twice, and one of Colkhab and Yumcax, which explains why my NPC's are all dead. It's moments like these which makes FFXI a special game. Where fans of the series can bunch together and overcome obstacles. We grinded for over a year to become strong enough to tackle what the game has to offer. We're not hardcore players, none of us are elitist, we don't show off and we always have time for those who need help. We win and lose like a family. When we lose, we come together to figure out why. I've always hated having to lead stuff, but these guys make it easy. I've always found the best group of players are those who do what you want, before you even thought of asking them too. They take it upon themselves to do what is right given the situation, and that's due to practice, it's due to listening. It's due to wanting the best for everyone there. We don't have a LS bank. We don't have a points system. We don't have hoarders, we pass items/gear to whoeever needs it most. And we're not closed off to the world, we'll take anyone who is willing to do what they can to win. I already said my thanks in our post in the Cerberus sub-forum. So when someone says you need to be on a populated server to make an Aeonic, let it be known that it doesn't matter how many players are on the server, so long as you can find a nice, small group of players who want to succeed, then anything is possible. It might take longer, but the journey is always better than the destination. We wear our Aeonics with pride, and we'll keep going as long as this remains fun. Peace out.
