At the risk of taking just another mythic pic I thought I’d stop to SS real quick here, and for good reason. Simply put I farmed ALL my alexandrite, I didn’t buy from bazaars, so I wasn’t leaving five mules afk in a FC cruor pt for blinkers, or fish boting, or hackling nyzul for 10mil pieces, not that I have anything against you who do, but simply so this doesn’t look like just another mythic pic. I duo boxed salvage everyday and trio boxed salvage (about 3 times of the week when Vhyihza worked, and always manually,.. 4 months in the making and it's finally done!! It's been less stressful than getting a harp to 99! This is possibly because there are a lot of awesome people who helped/kept me company along the way. So thank you all! (I wont name names, you guys know very well who you are. I hate to miss anyone out!!!!) Thanks to the people who helped me get the weapon/odin done to start the quest, thanks to people who did assaults with me (and nagged me to go when tags are up), thanks to people who took me to T3/odin2 runs for ichors, thanks for the NI tokens, thanks for assaults help, thanks for taking my merc service so i can buy my alexes! thanks for people selling me cheap alexes and bought alexes to sell me. Wow, what an amazing journey this has been. I started this weapon back in 2012 when I was still living in Korea, and was never able to finish due to me moving to California for my career and me ultimately taking a break. It has been a project since 2012 and I finally finished it! First and foremost I want to thank Fthis and Milkydoll for helping me out with assaults, and Nyzul! If it wasn't for Fthis I would've probably been stuck on Lost and Found like an asshole. Reminiscing. I remember back in 05, I needed help with the Tower fight for AF Head, but no one in my LS was strong enough. I talked to a random guy about it, and soon enough he was taking me up the tower with a six-man party. I can't remember his name, but after a hard fought battle I was happy to finally complete the set. Fast forward to 08, I had been doing Dynamis, and (after two dc's as it dropped in the pool!) got the Abyss head from Xarcabard. I was happy again, and I felt a need to return to the tower, chill, and take a screenshot. I started using ffxiah.com in 2010, and my profile picture has been the one in the top right ever since. Eight years later, I finally updated the pic. I sit in the tower as we speak, remembering all the times anyone thanked me for playing the job well. Remembering all the times I gave advice to new DRKs, and the times when better DRKs told me off for doing it wrong. Yes, this is another DRK screenshot, but it's also a story, one I will continue for the love of the job. I get emotional sometimes, (and I'm a writer), so I guess DRK suits me in that way . Now I just need to miss an Insurgency entirely and everything will be right with the world. The End.Reminiscing. This was our first win (second attempt, first one did benediction at 15%) with 18 people, taking us a total of 5 SC. RUN needs to have Gambit + Rayke up for every single SC (more important Rayke) to allow for all BLMs to hit 99,999s every single MB. This held mostly true (I only got 4 or 5 sub 99,999s across 3 characters) and it was during lightsday.This was a proof of concept run to see if this could be further scaled to kill WoC in 3 SCs.
