4 months in the making and it's finally done!! It's been less stressful than getting a harp to 99! This is possibly because there are a lot of awesome people who helped/kept me company along the way. So thank you all! (I wont name names, you guys know very well who you are. I hate to miss anyone out!!!!) Thanks to the people who helped me get the weapon/odin done to start the quest, thanks to people who did assaults with me (and nagged me to go when tags are up), thanks to people who took me to T3/odin2 runs for ichors, thanks for the NI tokens, thanks for assaults help, thanks for taking my merc service so i can buy my alexes! thanks for people selling me cheap alexes and bought alexes to sell me. Some out of good character and others out of the fear of developing a bad reputation which would handicap their chances of getting into an HNMLS which was required for obtaining anything of great value. Now a days people can pug any content with 6 people. make macros to /trade ??? in spite of any line that has been organized. With the trade marked reply "Deal with it" or "You mad bro?" Call it completionism, or just sentimental, reforging it to 119 today felt like a good way to honor the gun that brought me to more serious endeavors and the endgame of XI. Thanks to everyone on my server that helped with VW spam+finding mp+dross! Now how do I guns akimbo?ARRRRmageddon was my 'RME', made casually years ago, getting it to 85 seemed to take forever. Story time! Way back when I returned to FFXI in 2006 or 2007, I came back solely to level Monk to 75. As Relics were made easier to obtain, I eschewed Monk despite it being my main thanks to acquiring Verethragna. The years passed, I worked hard to get other items, but Monk remained my primary job. With the end of Vana'diel coming, I decided that I could not leave without getting this task accomplished, even though Relics really aren't worth much these days. Story time! Way back when I returned to FFXI in 2006 or 2007, I came back solely to level Monk to 75. As Relics were made easier to obtain, I eschewed Monk despite it being my main thanks to acquiring Verethragna. The years passed, I worked hard to get other items, but Monk remained my primary job.
