Im not sure if the glitch is around but if your in there for a stupid long time you get those messages but nothing actually disappears.

I see this a lot but one time when it happened, it continuously spammed it. I logged my character off and on twice and it just wouldn't stop. After about 25 minutes of it just flooding my chat log it finally stopped taking all of my buffs off.

I had that happen with me and my mule in Tahrongi with 350 or so minutes. Got those messages, but it would only act as if you clicked those buffs off. So fighting Iratham on NIN, I looked down to see yellow HP when I hadn't gotten hit yet. >_____________> Frightening at the least.
