best person i've ever tanked with, Furionstormrage, even though he can be kind gay, but I don't think many people actually notice his skill and intellect on the game, and his precise knowledge on what gears to swap with etc per mob he's fighting. He doesn't just go based on what he reads, he thinks for himself as well in what would be suited best. I read the kon post, some of the tanks people consider good and have aegis don't even take advantage of it's Augmented shield bash >.> and there is no sort of gear swaps goin on, and I noticed when tanking with Daikun, he has aegis too, but when I tanked with him, I couldn't see how it was worth a damn when he couldn't hold hate off me for more than a few seconds...., I think to even be considered a tank, the mob actually has to be on you for some time even if you and another tank are swapping hate.
Anyway enough about pld crap.
Hard to tell for me who the best DD would be...

I wouldn't even bother making an attempt at something like this since I don't know, nor have played with near the scope of players most people have.

The KoN thread was comical though, oh Virgil. Never played with that guy, but the ego and sense of entitlement is large on that one. Maybe he backs it up, hell if I know.

No someone could have the best gear and still suck at what they do. You could also be better than other players having ok-gear but the person w/ the higher gear would have to be a retard or a account-buyer

You know this is all well and good, but there is no way to compile any list of who are the best on the sever unless you have partied with every single player on the server. More or less, any list a person would make would be a list of their favorites, not the best.
