Oh I get your point and definitely agree on that behalf, I just wish people who decided not to vote did so because they knew they wouldn't have all the facts on hand to make a decision they were confident in. It would never work that way, though, because no side would ever attempt to give up that many easy votes that can be won over with television ads and phone calls made in the action movie "ONE MAN, ONE CHANCE" voice about how he wants to take toys away from your children and alienate their freedoms or ..something. lol

You can complain, but it makes you a hypocrite.

If you don't vote you obviously don't have that much of a problem with the the government or care what happens to the country, which means you should have no reason to complain... OH SHI-

Choose which platform you disagree with less. Just because you disagree with both party platforms, doesn't mean one of them isn't getting into power.

The first line made me LOL. like a business degree is something to brag about? I've yet to meet anyone with a business degree who knew anything about economics. get an econ degree. the only person who needs anything "dumb down" for them is in fact a graduate of business. i have never seen another degree that emphasized in so many intro level courses in my life. Maybe if you had a PHD in business i would have some respect for you, but judging by your post i can already tell that you do not. leave policy making to the econ majors.

theres resolutions that dosent involve killing people, and in most cases, dropping a bomb will kill a higher % of innocent people than the real "threat".

Ok, for those of you who commented about my aggression towards Obama on the first post, I'm sorry.

I was pissed off when I read that, and, unfortunally, had no other outlet to express my feelings other than this forum at the time. I'm sorry you guys had to read that at the wrong time.

While some people got it right on the nose, I think the topic went offtopic when people started accussing his voters that they only voted for him for being black. That is not the case, and I will explain why.

He is a charismic person, I will give him that. He won his election based off of 2 things. He is a Democrat and he is a good speaker.

Thanks to Mr. Bush, any Democrat running for office would have won, it could have been Obama, it could have been Hitler, it didn't matter, because of the public distaste at the time towards Bush.

He is a good speaker also. He talked anyone into buying his ***, and those few people who called him out on it, they were ignored thanks to his "swooning" the media and public. He made people think that if you are against him, you are racist. He didn't correct anyone in that little "mistake" but I can tell you, he gained the most out of that than anyone else would have.

The problem about good speakers, they are almost never good leaders. Think of him as a used car salesman. They can tell you that its the best car in the world, and that they are going to go under for selling you that car for half of the sticker price, but since you are a good friend, they would still do it. It is still going to break down as soon as you pull it out of the lot.

That is what is happening now. His choices in taxing people who had nothing to do with the tax he is inforcing them on should be illegal.

Thats like him putting a smoking tax on non-smokers, or drinking tax on non-drinkers, or a Canadian tax on American citizens. It doesn't make sense, but people are allowing this to happen.

Why would you put a bailout tax on companies who didn't pay borrow the money, or take any help, or already paid back in full the money they borrowed before he even got elected.

Whats keeping him in taxing Americans for things we don't use, or have, or need?

i think we should settle all conflicts in an arena with monkeys armed with chainsaws, and the people fighting only get silly items to fight with such as ballons, pillow cases, head phones, candy wrappers, etc. Film it and sell it, idk.
Maybe have like 5-10 of those monkeys to make it entertaining.

Not at all "just a ***disturber." I just wanted to read an actual point. Like Korpg posted just now. I may disagree with how he sees things, but I can respect that he has some solid reasons for thinking them.

And I don't see how you can say a counterpoint wasn't needed to the wiki post. It's like a straight list of source materials. You just have no reply to them.

I apologized because of my tone of it all.

People seemed to be aggressive against me because of it, and for some reason, they either think I'm attacking them (which I'm not, because the only person who I think is an idiot in this thread is Obama) or attacking their values (probably because they voted for him, and don't want to either admit to their mistake or accept the fact that he may have not been the best person for the job).

I went out of my way to say I'm sorry for something I was a little pissed off when I wrote the thread, and should have expressed it in less negative light (although, Obama is still a moron)
