As someone who consistently farms dyna for materials, the only crappy move that I consider terrible is killing wave 2 boss with ample time left remaining. I had to scold someone the other day and they apologized. Cuz you already got your wave 1 boss, let people still kill their 100 mobs. It's only happened to me once since it came out but other than that, I feel that shared dyna is working as intended.

Why do other people have to play around you?

Seems entitled that because you want A and other people want B then they are not allowed to B. For some arbitrary reason your A take precedence.

Scolding people for just obtaining a different goal than you, seem pretty entitled. you could have started with just open communication

People with this level of entitlement should probably go to single player games.

Having said all that, theres no reason why they cant introduce a freeze and teleport to everyone in the shared area when a boss dies. These mechanics already exist in the game in many places

We can do a lot of stuff. that doesnt mean people want it, just because one person cant read a HP bar.

I would hate having to zone back because some one else killed a Wave1 boss. dont take my choice away because again one person cant read the hp bar
Instead. i would you know READ the hp bar and move to where i want to be ahead of time and be ready for the reset.

But you want to take that choice away from me because again. people cant read a HP bar ?
The *** you mean zone back lmao

What do you think happens when you teleport in Omen?? In Salvage? In Limbus? When you kill HTMB target. Etc etc. You get POS warped legally.

wave 1 boss dies
Wave 1 mobs depop and everyone in zone gets POSd to the safe area of that boss

You arent getting yeeted from the zone and need to re enter for wave 2

Zoned as in yeeted around. i though that was pretty obviousness with my explanation on how to walk to where you want ahead of time was now longer possible.

seem like you tried hard to get a gotcha on a single word but complete ignored the entire conversation

this does not change the bottomline point that people just because they cant read a hp bar, wants everyone else around them to change instead of just reading the hp bar.

and i think that is kinda selfish/entitled way to view the world.

What choice is being taken away?
Your “choice” to farm wave 1 is already being taken away when the mobs get depopped because boss is dead.

Also you explicitly said “zone back”. This means exactly one thing in this context.

Idk what you are talking about buddy, but I do whatever the hell I feel like doing, I'll scold you too in-game if you're acting like a scrub. I do have the common courtesy that if someone sends me a /tell to team up or help them out with a clear, I gladly help them out.

Try reading the posts. It's mentioned twice now

But ima try a third time a bit simpler.
If you teleport me anywhere at the kill of wave1 boss you have taken away my choice to be anywhere else within that zone at that point in time.

I'm not sure how to explain that moving people stops them from staying in place.

Oh no u cant be caught in a suicidal spot (or you r0 and CANT move even if you wanted to) so you can prepop everything (within the area) in wave 2 and *** the run up for everyone else

Boo hoo

Maybe you are projecting here and you like it the way it currently is so you can continue to drop wave 2 on top of fellow unsuspecting adventurers in hopes to have the zone for yourself afterwards?

Now who's projecting.

I've never even been in the shared instance, project-bro, hence why I did not know you don't get credit for wave 1 boss if you're not in party.

They really should change that.

No other shared (non-instance) zone lets people with different goals change how the zone works for other people.

Didn't they already have to make the change to prevent monster AOE damage to people not in the party with claim here?

Once again, little foresight in design based on how people actually play the game.

I think the shared dynamis is a unique experience considering how it works:
Targeted goals
Scheduled rotation
Daily lockout

Having said that, there are a couple I can think of:
Displacements in Riverne
Banishing gates in Garlaige
Double key door in Sacrarium

At the end of the day though, this Dyna experience is unique if youre drilling down for an exact match.

That's quite a stretch. None of those things really change anything, just cost a few minutes time to reopen the doors.

How about if you kill 100 apex mobs in KRT, the entire zone repops 10 levels higher, and maybe moves around some hounds and skeles for fun.

Wonderful argument, immediately convinced.

The only part that actually works to a new player's advantage over the instanced version is unlocking +2 by yourself, and saving a couple of real life days in the process.

Better for them to then team up in a instance dyna, take things at their own pace and get the kills or w1 boss for +3.

Remove w2 altogether, or keep shards/voids and remove cards/heroism.

If that was how the game was. I would prepare for it instead oif whining.

That how you progress in the game. learn, adapt, progress.
Not whine and ask for cuddle nerfs.

Only thing you can do is suck it up, get your +3 unlocks, then come back later or in a group.

Of course you take things as they are, that doesn't mean you can't point out reasons they are poorly designed.

There really is an issue with the shared pulls. We pulled the Bastok AH and it ran off to someone else who was solo and killed them. We pulled stats with flash but they ran to some poor taru.

This is very much a thing, also in the instanced zone. I often pull statues with flash, sometimes even just a single statue, and the mobs will decide to immediately attack a random alliance member instead.

It's totally different from the absolute lack of a problem these other fools are talking about.

Then why do you have a strong opinion in this matter?

Shared DynamisD will be scrubs first contact with the content, chances are they don't even know that there are multiple waves and how they get initiated. Of course most of them will be caught off guard and die on wave 2 pop.

IIRC the underground section of sky for instance has blue and yellow pillars that could be activated and would block/open different parts of the zone. If 2 players wanted to access different areas this could result in a tug of war situation.

Imho much more annoying for everyone involved compared to what is suggested in this thread.

From the people who have a strong distaste of the idea to get warped to a safe spot, what is their reason? What do you lose?

Afaik all shared DynaD offers is voids, shards, rusted/blackened cards and beastmen/kindred medals and every mob in the zone has a chance at dropping those so it shouldn't matter where you're starting wave 2.

The only other thing I could think of is volte gear and those people don't like the idea of everyone getting a equal chance at claiming a red eye?

Or does it screw with peoples multi box setups in some way that I'm not aware of?

If you want to farm, for example, the COR NM in sandy...then when you're ready to move into W2, you place yourself at the fountain. Then when the W2 Statues spawn, you can quickly kill the COR nm, without running through half the zone murdering it all.

Maybe you prefer the density of the fountain in jeuno, or want the freedom of the AH in bastok. Idk.

Instanced content is plagued with weird issues like that, another example is auto targeting/engaging a random target like a party member or a trust instead of a enemy after a mob dies and the context menu reflecting that so I can't even disengage or switch targets anymore.

I'd appreciate if they'd get fixed but they've been persisting thru multiple instanced events and haven't been addressed so I'd not get my hopes high they ever will get fixed.

Ah, now we get closer to the core issue here, some guys want a positional advantage for a chance at the pricy COR shards and can't stand the idea of everyone getting a equal opportunity.

Why else would people have such a strong opinion on this matter.

Sorry scrubs, you'll have to keep dieing.

You asked for an example where it would matter, I gave you an example where it matters...but suddenly it's some grand conspiracy by rich elites you don't like or something?

Other people should be forced to change their gameplay for you, but if you're forced to change your gameplay for them, it's terrible.

What kind of answer would have satisfied you? If an orphan needed to be by the chocobo stables to meet their parents there?

What if this hypothetical player who wants a COR voidfoot is you. Or a new player who can't afford it? Is that acceptable? I never said anything about the socioeconomic status of this hypothetical player...

But why?
Why would you go through clearing 75% of the eastern half of san d'oria, pull the statue to the tavern, kill it there, just to have quick access for the COR NM and then leave?

To be fair he didnt.
He had a strong opinion against your attitude to you lack of basic skills.
That why all his argument was about how all the issues you brought was faults of yours. Like that you you dont pay attention (your own words) and didnt look at the HP bar (again your own words again).

its not a gotcha.
You have been told this multiple times people have other goals than yours in there. You just dont get it, again because (your own words) dont know where mobs spawn.

You are just still showing you lack of basic dynamis skills, and blaming everyone else around you

OMG somebody is trying to get the the mob they want.. SCANDALOUS...

Well this was just some ***I made up but...if you want to get the COR NM in W2, What are your other options?

Kill half of W2 from the boss to the fountain - this is just what you said, but harder since it's w2.

Also maybe you dont ONLY want the COR, maybe you want to do all 4 of those NMs. Or the 3 NMs in the alchemy guild area in bastok. Or whatever. Idk. The point is...players might want to be in a specific area when W2 hits. Teleporting them around the map will *** up their plans.
