WHM will get stronger and more MP. Monberaux will gain absolutely nothing from any stat or skill.
I mean... that's not the meaning of the word "nerf".
It's used for something that used to be good say "10" and after a change it becomes good to a level of "8".
That's a "nerf", a reduction in the performance of something compared to the previous situation.
But that's not the case for Monberaux?
He just is going to gain less compared to other trusts, but it's not like Monberaux's performance was better than it is with the new system compared to before, so I wouldn't say "nerf" is the right word to use here?

It was exactly the same situation with the previous system, the ilevel you gained through several aspects (the Trust +ilevel system or the Odyssey exclusive MM system) had the same exact behaviour than the new system.

SE developed a habit of nerfing jobs, that they think are too strong, by leaving them out of gear upgrades. If this is intentional then this would be the trust version of this approach.

like truth by omission isn't a lie

Every healer but you gets an upgrade, it's not a nerf, it's a downgrade by omission

Still far and away the best though

If they want to help casual players (which they are supposedly doing with these trust changes), a big starting point would be to make reraise easier to get. From a ring or earring similar to warp ring (in acquisition and function)

The reraise ring is already in the game, just make it easier to get (and maybe lower the recast time)

Curio sells two forms of Reraise, ambuscade gives you one for free, you can buy a scroll for nation points, Grounds Of Valor offers it for cheap points, and there's a level 90 necklace that gives Reraise 3 for 10 uses. All of these are easily obtainable. Not even a real problem, more fake outage.

by this logic they should take warp rings out of the game, cause you can buy a warp scroll from there too?

No because they are not always in your inventory, you don't have to remember to get one reraise from the curio moogle before you do anything. A reraise ring from conquest points, with unlimited uses and a 1 hour recharge is not going to break the game, but it will make he game less obnoxious.

Dying is punishment enough, they don't need to also have a home point and leave area norm at this point.

Reraise items are for solo players, if you're in a group the healers already have it up.

A ring from the mog tablets and White Rarab Cap +1 have reraise, unfortunately on a ~20 hour cooldown. Mog tablets is quite a bottleneck though and I'm not sure if there are similar items for rr2 and 3.

Nah, he has a point. The constant back and forth to merchants for stuff like reraise and warp is annoying and it's extra annoying when you notice you forgot to restock after entering the instance.

People use warp rings way way way more often than they use reraise items.

The difference is that travel is common everywhere, so having a ring that is ready every 10 minutes just improves the experience of traveling faster, quicker. You do not die as frequently in this game as a solo player to require more than one or two forms of Reraise, which you may or may not even need. If you do die, you just go get another one? This is not a major inconvenience for casual or lower level players. On the contrary, it would for sure be a convenience for people like myself who always keeps an Airmid's Gorget or Raphael's Rod on myself because losing ML/EP is annoying. Or other players who forget Reraise in critical events.

There's a couple of other items I didn't mention because there's several ways to Reraise yourself.

The items with charges aren't a great solution imho cause it's just as easy to forget about how many charges are left than it is to pick up another reraise scroll.

20 hour cooldown on those items is overkill, should be ~1 hour. Too much to use it multiple times in the same instance but it should be ready again when you need it in the next event imho.

there's also just 2 meds that are also sold from the same place you get a scroll, you really shouldnt have any problems getting and holding onto item based RR of all things unless you're dying constantly which seems more like a strategy issue

Idk about you but I try to always have rr on any job i go to unless its something where i gotta swap subs around like ambu JA resets(can't actually remember if RR is one of the buffs that gets wiped or not). Mistakes happen and ***hits the fan, having only the healer with rr slows everything down considerably when they gotta waste time/mp getting everyone else back up
