In doing so, Mr genius bug discover with now feel ever so good about himself, and ultimately tell his followers that "The information is actually too dangerous" and not post a shred of credible information anyway.

This person has had not only the original post some weeks ago, but multiple posts here in which they could have divulged Any information regarding their claims. They repeatedly throw a large number around and nothing further.

If they had any shred of principle or ethic to their so called 'discovery' they'd reveal even the tiniest bit of further information, such as "multiple bosses" or tools being used, route, challenges, etc.. However, they don't even have the balls to do that.

For someone who's "done, unsubbed, and doesn't care" as Maletaru correctly identified, you have no barriers infront of you for explaining yourself. If you were being even slightly honest, and you had a meritorious claim, you'd back it up. Even if you did so in private to someone who can research it or share it on your behalf if you were in any way concerned about your characters safety.

You can't do 130k unless you can respawn bosses, straight up. Even if you teleported everywhere you went, you can't get another 45k on top of 9 boss, period. You'd need to full clear all of the basements of every enemy in there and then some.

Even if you have all the tools in the world, you still have to wait for enemies to gather together to be cleaved. Also: cleaving with a 9 boss setup is WAY more dangerous.

IDK, maybe this hyper genius completely broke all of the content and there are CIA assassins who are threatening them. The much more likely scenario is some clueless moron made up a story and forgot to fact check it before posting it.

He doesn't really need to. If I premise that boss respawn exists, it can't be that hard to find. Same as the medal exploit a few years back, there are only a few systems that would potentially interact in a way that could trigger it.

If you can repop bosses, there are a few obvious methods to attempt.

• Enter/exit menu boss uses same menu ID but different parameter. Try exiting with entrance param/coordinates. Try entering and exiting with out of range parameters.

• Each boss spawns at the same location. It's possible entering a downstairs floor spawns the boss rather than the device itself. POS warp to boss location and try bitzer or entering different downstairs.

• Try to interact with bitzer or device while inside boss arena and triggering a respawn. Might be the zone tracks where you are rather than which device is being interacted with to handle respawns.

• Use aminon parameters on a different boss to get multiple aminon spawns

Again, this is a hypothetical. If someone wanted to try, these are the most likely things they should try. I have not tried, because as I said when this person first showed up, risking a ban to get Primes faster is absolutely silly. If I were invested enough to care about them, I'd automate the content so I could safely get primes at the speed of lockout. There's no need to go faster than that.

That said, the person is being intentionally vague and using comments like:
to imply a degree of creativity using available systems. They don't seem to imply they've done anything with packet manipulation. This really just makes them seem like a complete and total liar.

If you can respawn or cross-spawn bosses, there are basically 2 strategies worth looking at:

-Kill Aminon 3-4x and get whatever else you can.
-Kill Dhartok(someone more into sortie might choose another, but that's still 4 options and no route planning) over and over for the entire time.

Their story doesn't make sense even if you assume you can respawn bosses. I don't want to say they're lying outright, because the amount seems feasible if any of my proposed mechanisms actually work. But, if they're actually getting those amounts using one of those mechanisms they've clearly twisted their explanation of it to avoid giving it away. They just want attention, no matter how you put it.

People have figured out you can hax0r the bitzers and get them to warp you to any boss room you want.

That will definitely save you time. If you cleave on top of that, it's feasible.

Super duper secret though, don't tell anyone.

Sending bad 0x5Cs works on almost anything that teleports you and that's extremely well known. It's a little less likely to get you actioned than just POS warping, but it's not any faster. Don't think that's sufficient.

Even if you can stomp through the bosses half hour, cleaving 50k in the remaining time to reach 120k shouldn't be possible. You'd have to clear all of (E or F), G, and H 3x each (after 2 respawns, they stop giving galli) and get a couple chests to boot. Maybe if the entire team has speed and you have a couple cleavers, but you'd still need a fast setup for Aminon.

Then, you end up back at the original premise: If you're doing it to reduce the number of total runs/time spent in sortie, it is still silly. May as well just get the easy 70k from bosses and leave, rather than make it a full hour painfully cleaving out 50k more.

I don't think this is the case. If he had mixed feelings about the outcome, there'd be no reason to hint at it. If it's something like boss respawning, the hint is enough for someone to figure it out and then it's public and getting patched either way.

If it's more trivial like aggressive warp/speed use, there's not really anything to share, because people already know these exist. Hundreds if not thousands are aware you can manipulate 0x5Cs to warp a little bit safer than POS, but everyone knows POS is a thing. So, what would he want to share? That he's pretty good at speedhack cleaving?

Hard to know what people have coded and kept to themselves, but I doubt it's that low. It's definitely possible for someone writing code specifically for this use to do 9boss automatically, but it's a tall order. OTOH, 6 or 8 boss wouldn't be that difficult, so I'd be shocked if there isn't already someone pulling 40-50k automatically. Wouldn't really be surprised if there's someone doing a full 9boss, though.

Yea, the trouble is pulling 60k from cleaves and trash in the remaining 30 min to get to 130k. Every single trash mob in EFGH killed 3x totals around 60,102 [each mob can spawn in a 3 level range, I used the galli value from the middle level]. With the other coffers and some naakual involvement, you should be able to skip E or F, but that's still full cleaving 9 downstairs areas. You'd have to clear each area in 3 minutes. It's a very tall order, but probably possible with aggressive and coordinated speed use by multiple cleavers to gather mobs quickly.

Like I said, if that is how he's doing it, what is there to share? Using warps or 0x5C manipulation to get to bosses quickly is extremely well known. Cleaves and other coffers existing is also well known. I can't see what he could possibly be hinting at besides that he wants attention.

It isn't really a secret. In fact, I'm surprised no one has thought to try doing this (or maybe there are people out there doing it and they just don't have such a big mouth lol).

But yeah, I spoke to some nicer people here and I think I'm going to actually release it. It's a bit complicated though, and to be honest, utilizing the bug is only just a part of it-- it still needs some specific gear prep, a bit of skill, and a bit of execution.

I'll see if I can post a video of an example run sometime this month. I'm just a bit busy with work but it shouldn't be too difficult to gather up all my notes and what not.

This was just way too cool to just let this die with only me, and the fact that an astonishing amount of people are still having trouble even comprehending the possibility of 130k is also pretty interesting. I'm really just a noob and have probably been playing this game a fraction of how long others on here have been and have likely only a fraction of game knowledge as well, so I didn't really think it would be that inconceivable. This run includes all 9 bosses in record time, plus coordinating teleporting around all the basements, multiple times, then sleeping/tanking/cleaving all of the mobs in each basement, many of which cast. Probably requires a bit of execution. I'm also curious how you prevent mobs like the Dullahan, Pixie, etc. from absolutely wrecking your ***while you're cleaving them. It's gotta be an INSANELY creative setup to cleave all these mobs while you're also set up to kill all 9 bosses.

It's incomprehensibly, stupidly difficult. Way more difficult than "oh, just do 9 boss and then spend the other 30 minutes cleaving." You're cleaving mobs with Grim Halo, Villainous Rebuke, Atramentous Libations, Spring Breeze, Cyclonic Turmoil, etc.

Oh, and you need to pull all of them into one spot, including ALL THE WAY from the start to the back of the furthest back room, and kill them. In about 3 minutes total. 9 times in a row. After doing your 9 boss run.

Also keep in mind, you need to find 5 other morons who want to risk their accounts doing the dumbest cheating in the history of FFXI. There's no chance someone is 6-boxing this and BEYOND no chance that this moron wrote a bot to do it.
