Coming back to post after countless years. I already responded a lot on the TikTok and Reddit thread- I played with her daily for many many years, visited her irl, etc. we spoke o. The phone days before she passed. She was one of my very best friends for almost 20 years. All that I have on this game couldn’t have happened without her, and all that I have irl couldn’t have happened without her positive presence in my life for so long. Vana’diel will never be the same again.
We may have gotten our maat’s caps together, but it is her who is the ultimate champion of the world- both of them.
I’ll def post, answer questions, share stories, and more when I can sit down and collect my thoughts more. It has been one tough week.

Very curious on why so many BST? Did she enjoy the leveling process and just start another BST?
May she rest in peace in Valhalla.
I know she leveled it on all of her mules because it was the easiest/fastest to level, especially solo. She was super sweaty with things like login rewards, daily content, mog bonanza, gardening, etc. So if it meant taking another mule to 75 or 99 meant more rewards/eligibility etc, she was sure to do it. In the early days she would level a character, get teleport/warp/drain and aspir, sell them, and then delete that char and start again.
She was always hustling. Whatever her combined play time on her current character roster is is sure to be a lowball of her actual play time.

RIP... Saw the story the other day and I never go on Reddit. That would so be me at the end just chilling with XI... This game is so beautiful and has been such an important thing in peoples lives all these decades later. I'm glad it could make someone happy in their darkest times and still connects people all these years later.

I am glad the game brought relief to her depression and I am sure she touched the lives of countless others because of it. Sounds like we lost a wonderful woman. RIP and my condolences to your family.
