I only did like 100 runs. Brought Sageo's THF to tag her. Got 1 drop with TH4 on VE. I think we got stupid lucky.

Gonna be nice when this set is added to the next Mog Bonanza as a Rank 4 prize so you can get at least 1 or possibly 2 if you have 16 alts all buying marbles.

Gonna be funny when the level cap is raised to 149 and this gear becomes what level 75 gear was to level 90 players.

Note: No, the mog bonanza thing isn't confirmed. I only expect it. Same with the 149 level cap. It's not confirmed or hinted at, but at some point I expect it. Don't @ me with any "ackchually" because it is just speculation on my part. Nobody ever thought they would raise the cap from 75, but yet 99 and then 119 via gear so... time will tell.

Post #777 talking about being stupid lucky. Well played.

You could be done in an afternoon if you did this on VD. Try being a more likable person so you can have some friends to do stuff with.

It took me over 300 VD runs (non-spitewarden method) with no competition before I saw all 5 pieces drop. VD is a better chance, but bad luck is bad luck.

I would completely agree that wasting time on D or VD without killing the spitewardens is just unnecessary and riskier for not enough benefit. If you're gonna do the higher tier difficulties, get a strat down to deal with those for more drop slots.

Never thought about the equipment tab either. I swore at the time they ninja edited the drop rate. I just have horrible luck. All on E with TH4 mostly with sometimes someone tagging along for TH8. Eventually I started going THF in the end. After the 600's I stopped even counting and just went numb with fighting her lol.

I did a minor outline of the how on page one using a "split party" strat, but a second point is that each spitewarden takes full damage from one damage type, and 1/3 dmg from others. (Weak isn't the right word, but its the easiest to use) One is weak to melee, one weak to ranged, and one weak to magical (magical WS's count). This makes a COR invaluable for that stage.

You first have to kill the specific gyve that pops WITH the spitewarden, then they stop being a "shadow form" and can be damaged. The auras from the gyves will affect you if you have hate on lilith proper, hence the split party.

On N, one warden pops, on D, two, and on VD, all three (in sequence, not the same time). For N and D, which warden(s) you get is random, so you can't plan ahead on "oh we're getting the ranged and physical weak ones".

Lastly, they depop once Dark Lilith switches to Lilith Ascendant, so they must be killed prior to killing the 1st version of her. This causes spacing issues with multiple gyves up, so positioning of Lilith herself becomes paramount in the first half of the fight. We used a concept of having the tank try and keep her on one half of the arena, but it still gets crowded.

Its essentially being able to wait out her popping them and having the physical space in the BC to not be in aura range because there will be SEVERAL gyves up by the end.

3 weeks to reach 5/5 Malignance set, playing about 3 hours each night. I'm sure I wasn't breaking records, but I'm glad it didn't take a year.

Just got the hat today (came back after taking a break).

EDIT: I don't even think I did more than 100 runs either.

Did you do all the runs solo? If you used alts did you enter on the same character every time?

I legit was running Lilith a few weeks back with someone who got every single armor in like a week of farming. I've spent months going at it and have yet to see a pair of hands drop. >->

I farmed all 9 Lilith items on 9 characters in 1,011 runs. (When I say all 9 pieces, I still mean 5/5 Malignance because the other 4 items are easier to get and besides, the last piece is always a malignance piece).

Longest character took 211 runs to get 5/5
Shortest was 5/5 in 43 runs, literally over a 3-day weekend.
Average across 9 characters was ~154 runs.

RNG is RNG, yo.

I’ve always thought there should be a point system to a degree. For every VE completed you get 1 point, every E completed you get 2 points, etc etc. Then you go trade points for specific gear. Takes out the randomness/extreme bad luck for some people. They could even add synth mats so people who already got gear are more inclined to help randoms/friends.

Never understood how SE thinks it’s fair that someone can kill something 1000+ times and not get the desired item, but someone can swoop in and kill something once and get the gear they wanted.

Of course SE would never do this because it creates a real balance to their random slot machine system.

Most likely they have some internal department that collect data from players to create their content.

Probably their researches should point that content “last longer” when you have to deal with random drops vs a progression system.

Also, it surely sounds weird to more logical people, but somehow people just like gambling. Thats what explain how popular those gacha games can get. Probably its something psychological but you never gonna like a gamble till the moment you luck out. Then, everything is perfect, probably the sense of satisfaction is momentarily higher than if i just needed to run X amount of times for a garanteed complete set.

Its pretty obvious that the devs get defensive about their "babies"....has been ever since all the adjustments they made to ensure that Absolute Virtue would only be beaten "their way", not the workarounds that were tested (wall of justice, kclub zergs).

I'm sure there are cries to increase droprate in Lilith, but there's likely a dev who designed the spitewarden mechanic and the associated rewards complaining "BUT THEY'RE NOT DOING IT RIGHT!!!"

They should get the memo that we're way beyond that at this point. Very little is done the way it was originally intended.

I always found that hilarious back in the day. Devs threw a tantrum because the players weren't killing AV "correctly"

I agree as long as somebody didn't cheat it. If I remember correctly, the first AV win, people glitched him by getting him stuck somewhere and GMs didn't let them keep the win.

The "Wall of Justice"- those sections in the north of the map that you could only reach via the crags vs Sealion Den.

AV was never intended to be killed, didn't they even say as much in an interview?

No, that would be silly. Why make something thats not intended to be killed? Just don't release it. It wasn't meant to be wall-cheated.
