Direction You're Facing When Crafting.

I know the developers answered a question about the direction you're facing when crafting, and decisively stated that it had no bearing on crafting, whatsoever.

However, I'm having trouble finding that announcement from the dev team about this issue. Does anybody have a link that corroborates this info?

dangit he was realistic about it. I was really looking forward to a monday theadwar about a 12 year old concept.....and you just HAD TO BE REASONABLE.

I had a ls member telling another ls member that the direction mattered when crafting, and when I corrected her she informed me that it was "just my opinion".

If they're not gonna listen, I figured I'd back it up with facts. Thanks again (^.^)d

Stand in the place where you live.
Now face north.
Think about direction, wonder why you haven't before.
Now stand in the place where you work.
Now face west, think about the place where you live.
Wonder why you haven't before.
If you are confused, check with the sun.
Carry a compass to help you along.
Your feet are going to be on the ground.
Your head is there to move you around.

I've always crafted facing NW so that SE can kiss my ***.

Started doing that after a string of breaks on pre-synth stuff I was 50+ over the cap on. Have done it as an inside joke since.
