I would say the porn industry is scared but I don't think it would bother them that much.

Well I'm not worried we got the best government workers on the case.
In six to eight weeks they will have a plan. huttburt<3 said: » Soft Martial Law in effect. Dark forces wanna test the waters. This could be a annual scare thing now. Stay in your houses slaves, until we say you're clear and disease free... Anyways, been spending extra cash on ammo and food. Stay frosty. Despite how trolling this is it, i cant help to think someone is pulling the strings for no clear reason. Quarantineing makes sense to people whos already sick. But i have 33 years and never saw something like this, of people having to be quarantined despite being healthy or no. Its like they are guilty till proven innocent. I think there should be some gradation of measures till some drastic remedy. It seems suddenly everyone just need to enter an global alert stage because of... risk. It doesnt help the virus itself isnt the worst humanity faced. Leviathan.Draugo

Again, not a fan of Trump, but I agree there is more to this panic than just concern for public safety.
It's turning into a feeding frenzy, but the virus itself isn't causing mass labor shortages to the point that no one is working because they are sick, which would lead to shortages of products. But the way they are shutting everything down it is inevitable. It's an election year, there is good reason to cause biased hysteria on either side of the aisle, any crisis is an opportunity to politicians, the spin this falls is going to be unreal, from both sides. The worst part is this is still just the beginning. Fear panic and stupidity spread faster than any virus can. The retrospective on this is going to be incredible.

It's disgusting enough they are eating all kinds of rodents, let alone when oblivious to the problems that can entail. The same thing could've happened being bitten by a bat, I'm not even fully willing to accept that it was bat soup that caused the outbreak just yet. It's not like eating bats/mice/rats/bugs is a new thing. I mean mother *** literally bash a monkeys head open and eat live brains. That's not healthy at all! Here is my FFXI corona virus meme for you all that I just came up with since it's a thing I do, I suppose.

It's not like eating bats/mice/rats/bugs is a new thing. I mean mother *** literally bash a monkeys head open and eat live brains. That's not healthy at all! H1N1, SARS, and now this have all traced back to China. Why? China is the only place that has huge "wet markets". It has to do with a bunch of wild game, that's caged live and slaughtered in one place. Wild game is an incredible host for disease, and, when penned in and bunched together where feces, urine, puss, etc is dropped into cage below cages and allowed to fester, it's a prime spot for vectoring to humans. So yes, they need to revisit this practice of the wet market, which is pretty much nonexistent anywhere else in the world. The problem is it's ingrained in their society, going back to the 1970s and huge famine. These markets were a solution to the starving peasants, and now is a mainstay in various pockets around the nation. It would have been extremely helpful if the government didn't try to cover up COVID-19. That would have allowered the rest of the world to work on getting ahead of it. They *** us. Just went to the "well stocked" store in town, no bread, almost no milk, no TP, no dog food, very little produce, no meat, no chili, no pasta, no rice, no beans, no eggs, no ramen, plenty of sea food lol. and they restocked just this morning. Tomorrow is payday for the whole town, gonna get some more of what I can, there is food still, but people are gonna b sitting on a lot of stuff that will go bad before they get to it I am sure. Kinda surreal, definitely makes a person step back and appreciate how good USA life really is, there are plenty of countries that have hardly stocked shelves more often than not.
While it's not that bad here in my city, we only have around 10 cases, we're still in a TP shortage for some reason. People don't seem to realize it's a 14 day quarantine and the virus doesn't give you the shits. I work at a gaming store and the owners have decided to be the only ones working for the foreseeable future. Thankfully they've offered to pay us regardless for the amount of hours we would have worked. Can't say the same for loads of other retail workers.

I can't wait for all the pity me I bought too much ***and can't afford anything now stories to start popping up. Oh you bought a thousand dollars worth of toilet paper instead of food? Hope it tastes good. Or perishable stuff. "we" already throw away so. much. bread. That's the one that actually surprise me the most, seeing bread completely gone. Bread is not what I expect to sell out completely. I was on my last year of trades school when my province declared a state of emergency. I don't really go out much as it is so I haven't noticed much of a difference in the area. I do get to skip writing a branch exam and pass based purely on my course marks.
