Even though it mentions them being on Asura and alot of people constantly confirming it is on Asura, they do get asked the private server question non-stop.

The bump for tomorrow's primed, yay, woohoo, etcetra
Im excited
If no one told you, you wouldn't even know it's on. I advertise for these *** more than they bother to.
https://www.twitch.tv/finalfantasyxi I actually found it on Facebook and I'm watching it now.
Skimmed over it. So they actually went through Bastok and Gustaberg, doing a run to Jeuno. No sign of the Galka alliance at all. Funny, they're rolling strong here on Odin.

A whole 60 people watching it too.
Impressive considering thats the population of every server except asura combined. Even more. I'm reading 80.
Too cool
Theres some JP youtuber who does XI streams and she has like 600 people watching every time, its so weird. I think shes a celebrity or something over there.
Isn't it the case that way more Japanese play FFXI than anyone else? Probably more of an audience by language alone.
There's an English-speaking player on Ragnarok whose streams often exceed 120 viewers. Honestly it's really probably pretty close to 50/50 en/jp split at this point.
But the jp are much more dedicated fanbois, despite our sides best efforts. Offline

I'm pretty sure she is actually is a community manager for JP XI, just as the girls in this video are. She has the developers on her streams a lot and is in a lot of official videos. My point was, she has a fanbase that does not originate from FFXI. Seiyuu are very popular in Japan and some have a cult following. Some of those people will watch the content that she provides regardless of the subject matter, which will contribute to their higher viewer count and participation numbers. No offense meant at all.
Lol it really aeemed like that... Japan be so weird

Emiri Katou is also a long time FFXI fan, having played the game for over 12 years for what it's worth. She's also SE's go to voice actress for Lilisette whenever they need her to be voiced, like in the famitsu voiced cutscenes from years ago or dissidia opera omnia.
