Multi-Box Temp Bans?

SE should just eliminate any punitive action against 3rd party programs. Well maybe keep restricting some of the bad ones.

Again just my opinion as an American, I think a person should have the right to contest the ban, as it might be a mistake.

Example: You're CPing in the Moh Gates area with others but aren't using any cheats. They are using cheats. Others see your party and report the entire group to SE. SE bans everyone in the party, which isn't fair to the person not using cheats.

I was in a party where everyone was using cheats (while trying to learn GEO). They couldn't understand why I couldn't keep up until it came out I wasn't using any battle cheats. They offered them to me, but I declined.

Just thinking someone could get banned and not really be violating anything. Just like there are people in prison who never broke the law.

If SE is doing its just 100% correctly, there shouldn't be any reason not to be open about the who, what, when, where, why, how, and allow someone to defend themselves.

They could offer a service that unbans you for x fee, but you have to pay a heightened sub fee. They could be the first to do it that I know of!

just going to say this... if your logging into the game using windower or ashita it is cheating.
there is no grey area.... so if you get BANNED!!! DEAL WITH IT!
also don't ever forget! you have been banned but you still have friends on the game!

I've been championing this for literally years. I'll drop a hundo for my OG character. Provided it's bulletproof for at least 6 months. AND able to be reupped.

Pay more to cheat? Yeah. I'm in. It'd make the game worth playing for me. With no fear that is.

Since when do you get in trouble for not logging out? I never got in trouble for not logging out, and I played for 10 years with rarely ever logging out. My play time was over 7 years in hours. (and that’s just my main character)

It would have to have some drawbacks to stop people from crying. Maybe you can have a little icon showing you are a filthy sinner and if you do anything even using windower, you get hammered for good. They would make so much money from the salvage ban people coming back.

Ignorance of the law or rule is no excuse. Ignorance of what others are doing is 100% valid, because we can't see or know what others are doing in the game. This is especially true with a pick up party where no one knows each other. I'll admit you might know what LS members know, but in my case it was a pick up party with strangers.

This is especially poignant considering SE has been encouraging parties - stranger pick up parties - from the beginning.

Not sure what you mean, but banning and permanently banning large number of people is turning money away. If I got banned I'd drop playing FFXI and I pay about US$96.00 for my POL accounts per month.

Interesting idea. Sort of like paying a fine and court costs.
