B) I contributed nothing to this thread other than Galka racism. Nickeny is the only one here who contributed anything towards the topic of casual gaming. At the very least, this thread should be renamed "Optimal Computer Specs" but leave the OP as it is to show how out-of-touch you are regarding this subject. Then let somebody with actual knowledge of this take it over. My nomination for this job is Rooks, because he has more important things to do Better yet, just delete this whole thread. That's probably the best thing that needs to happen. So, to help get this done, here's a message for our girlboy mod. Ramuh.Austar said: » Lakshmi.Miang said: » Apes said: » Basic understanding of LUA: (You don't need to be able to write scripts to use LUA, just be able to read it) I highly recommend Visual Studio Code, a free text editor that has a huge amount of plugins making it close to an IDE for many programming languages. You can install this Lua extension, which will highlight any errors in your code without you having to go in game and see the dreaded red console errors that are hard to read for non programmers. Plus it has built in git support for the more hardcore types, where you can setup your own private (or public) git repository somewhere and have all your GS files in a repository. You can then push all your changes to the repository, and if your PC ever dies, or you play on a laptop away from home, you can always get your most recent GS files from the git repository, all inside VSCode VS Code is the best. I use it for all languages I code in except C# I use VIM, except when I'm forced to use annoying things like notebooks at work. Realistically though, most of the time I get a red console error it's due to a NULL being concatenated onto a string... VS won't highlight that for obvious reasons. VS Code can be pretty annoying with interactive python sessions (one of my typical use cases). With interactive python sessions it tends to screw up if I send more than 8 lines to session, sometimes even with just 2... I have also run into a lot of weird behavior with respect to key-bindings not working. We could also link some bg guides and ffxiah guides as well...
Also... some information regarding gainexp spamming... thats almost 20m a gain exp Bismarck.Nickeny said: » We could also link some bg guides and ffxiah guides as well... Apes said: » If you want me to look over your lua file, I'm willing to help. Wait, are you calling out my grammar?
Either way, I don't care if a mod comes here. I think it would be best, because this thread is needless. It obviously breaks a few rules, such as: Quote: Don't give threads stupid or misleading titles. Don't flood topics. Don't be hostile. It's possible to disagree or convey irritation without attacking people. And, yes, before you mention it, I broke a few rules myself, such as: Quote: Don't insult or attack other users. Don't provoke other users. Don't be hostile. Don't sue us. If you ruin Rooks's brunch, there will be hell to pay I'm especially bad about the last 2 though. Point being, this thread is pointless. This thread is not a guide for causal players, at best it's a clickbait thread. But at the very least, you entertained me. So, kudos to you. And as such, I hereby hijack this thread to be about the upcoming "Rocko's Modern Life" reboot that Netflix is trying to do.

Dualwield sword DRK/NIN go! Better yet, DRK/PLD for those delicious self-cures during Souleater! Brady Guide approved! Does DRK get polearm skill?

But seriously. If you jimmies are that rustled, it's time to stop posting. But I like this though: Apes said: » Continue to fondle your ball sack, and beat yourself into oblivion, because you refuse to learn how to interact with people, thus letting life pass you by. Leviathan.Celebrindal

Apes said: » You are not the arbiter of truth for this forum. No, actually the people posting saying your OP is full of bad advice are the arbiters of truth when it comes to your suggestions that will have little to no bearing on playability for vast majority of single-box players. You don't see me posting PC setup threads. Wanna know why? BECAUSE I KNOW JACK ABOUT PC'S COMPARED TO THE VAST MAJORITY OF USERS HERE! At best you took others' work and simply by compiling it claim it as your own. At worst you wanted to be the Hero of the Proletariat and cause an uprising of the Everyman Gamer. Please, let the rest of the bumps to this thread be of the amusing sort so I get a giggle and don't waste my time. Now, back to my DoorDash and Netflix. Fondling ball sacks or interacting with people This thread is useless and the OP is a joke. I recently came back to FF11, started from scratch on January, had this thread existed then I would have ignored it. But that's not because of the ffxiah community, it's because the OP has zero good info for returning players. The community here is actually why I came back, I joined a LS full of Ni posters. Nik, Mosin, Spathaian, Zero, and lastly....
/Rant on FONEWEAR!!! YOU LAZY PIECE OF DOODOO!!!! YOU CREATED A CHARACTER TO PLAY WITH US AND STILL HAVEN'T TRANSFERRED OVER!!! THAT WAS IN FEBRUARY!! FEBRUARY!! I ALREADY GOT AN R0 WEAPON AND NEED 900 MORE JP TO START LEVELING IT UP!!! YOUR LAZINESS EXCEEDS MY OWN, A FEAT BELIEVED TO BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR DECADES!! /RANT OOOOOOFFFFFF ahem, anyone is welcome to come and play with us! Our current project is Kirin, he is gonna die very soon. I would tell new/returning players that quit pre adoulin like I did to be prepared to spend a lot of time doing missions. Rhapsodies is mandatory to do endgame and it requires progression through at least parts of every single storyline (excluding that shantoto 3pack). Clipper and the enterkey plugin are lifesavers. No, you don't have to worry about stupid PC things like overclocking, lol. Viciouss said: » This thread is useless and the OP is a joke.
