As a kid I got to work at a small scale dairy. We only pasteurized and at 4 days the pigs got it. But I know what real milk tastes like. And for many decades commercially available milk fell flat. Homogenization is not really a problem. Today all the butterfat is stripped out of the milk and carefully added back for each product. But the ultra pasteurization makes milk taste like ... well ... milk to me. And adds to the shelf time as well. You know you are bored when you are sorting your facebook source code to see who visits your facebook profile...
