FFXI HD Mods

So I am running into an issue with the black zones and only other characters loading, but it is the only zone that has an HD texture (La Theine). I did do a file check and it repaired every zone but La Theine, do I need to run another file check?

I had installed the all HD mod collection a page or two back which included Amelila's mods. I was running into the black screen consistently in Lower Jeuno, so I just went ahead and did a file repair, but for some reason La Theine still has an HD texture. The file repair seems to have fixed Mhaura, so I can't tell.

Thanks! replaced the DAT and reloaded my instance and it is back to normal.

You may or may not have resolved the issue by now, though yours sounds bump mapping related)

However, as someone who recently switched over to a RTX (just a lowly 2060) I was running into similar problems on XI with HD mods. So this post is really friendly reminder for anyone who plans on upgrading in the future.

Turns out DgVoodoo resets all its settings back to default when you install a card (which makes sense and is easily overlooked). Found that I needed to set all of my previous settings for the new card and the issues were resolved.

Is there a collection of everything all in one place that gets updated as new things get made?

New update wiped all my stuff I already had downloaded ;;

not a full file check, bump maps dats were not touched and a modded character creation zone dat I have didn't get touched. Looks like they tried to bother modders, How nice SE!!

Here you go, this is the the pack I keep updated for my LS, it has everything in this forum + UI mod, modded maps, all of amelilas HD zones, etc. There's a .txt in there that lists everything in there and who made what. Just unzip, and its 1 big drag and drop.

yeah the update also overwrote XIview files for icons and text. Any chance looking to see if it's needed to update or can okay to keep using febuary's files?

while Ronfaure is just an alternate version of Amelila mod , West Sarutabaruta and Valkurm are a big improvment compared to Amelila works (the texture are much bigger and actually, Sarutabaruta from Amelila just used for the ground and walls original texture with a photoshop filter to make it more clear)

I have also made 3 character face mod for Elvaan male face 1, Galka face 6 and Taru female face 1 (I don't include my first character mod because, it was poor)
