i initially thought the sam was on the thf/bst/pup etc set but i guess they didnt want it to just be a rng/cor/drg set and sam does sometimes, rarely, maybe use a bow so hey that works

There's no client mapping of names or text in any way, so it's up to interpretation. But, logically, the BPD one has to be the set with SMN on them. If you assume phalanx one goes to tanks, then you're left with DA/PDL for war/brd/nin because that's the only combo without pet stats.

QA/TA could be more open to interpretation, but the QA set has r.acc and the TA set doesn't. Makes more sense for r.acc to go to the group with RNG and COR than the one with THF.

They're probably right though. (even though ranger entirely caps enmity- with just one piece of gear, and cor entirely caps enmity- with the bullet)

My fingers are crossed then. The store tp and triple attack augment would be a lot stronger for the Justice/Duty set than quad attack and enmity. It's a much more natural fit.

WAR really needed a tanky DA+PDL+STP+Crit set to replace their tanky DA+PDL set

It's not really a tanky set. Meva is in crap territory for 2025 standards.

I would probably still wear few Sakapta pieces like hands and head at least.

Now RDM set is completely broken af. Highest meva in the game mostly on top of high DT and with Temper II, that will be like 60%Ta and 34sTP 75% triple attack rate (get *** THF) before rest of the gear :)

Caster set seems to be a let down simply because of a lack of mburst bonus.

Good macc/mab/mdmg aside from that, fast cast for recast reductions

Really wishing geo was on the same set as whm so it could finally get some decent TP gear.

Man, if those augments are correct then I need me a Duty Crown for MNK TP set. DA, TA, DT, Store TP...

It isn't like you wear anything else interesting in that slot for MNK anyway.

I might even be able to make a case for the hand slot too, but it is hard to give up Mpaca there (tradeoff of losing Crit Hit Rate and Triple Attack Damage to gain an extra 3% DA and more Store TP).

And yes, I'm aware that ranking these up is going to be just as nightmarish as the earring and ring.

Yeah, I agree- this set doesn't out sakpata sakpata, I was more joking about war getting another good set when non-sakpata jobs would love to have it.

NIN should get good use out of that set though, it beats mpaca for meva and has racc+ (that isn't even on mpaca) which is nice to see.

Also glad to see some wyvern stats on the drg set
