Ugh, here comes another argument on economics. Seriously, you can find a graph or metric or whatever to back up any opinion on any economic event. The New Deal saved the world. The New Deal hurt the poor and middle class. The New Deal did practically nothing. The New Deal increased the crocodile population in Bumpkinville, Florida by 3%.

Or we could refer to the handy dandy lists of Recessions in US history and conclude: Recessions come in. Recessions go out. You can't explain that! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_recessions_in_the_United_States Offline

Correlation and causation are not the same thing, hence my comment above. It's also the reason why you can have highly educated economists disagreeing with each other on the exact same data. Nothing's as cut and dry as 12 seconds of research on Wikipedia might lead you to believe. Tbe new deal which was from 1933-1938 during which time we had three recessions and one great depression
From your own link 1833–34 recession 1836–1838 recession and the late 1839–late 1843 recession BUT 1935 WAS AWESOME SO THE NEW DEAL KILLED LIKE A CHAMPION!!! No. The new deal sucked and you should feel bad for trying to rewrite history. Obviously he was vaccinated.

Democrats are trying to bail out insurance companies from disastrous #ObamaCare, and Puerto Rico with your tax dollars. Sad!
Are you suggesting that letting people keep more of what they create wouldn't lead to its exchange for goods in WH economy?
WH = "the"

As you can see from this graph The crocodile population remained relatively stagnant until a steady increase began between the years of 1981 and 1989. Reaganomics did more for American Crocodiles than that progressive hack and his New Deal ever could. Asura.Kingnobody said: » Social Security needs to be replaced If, and god forbid anyone you know actually had to live on SSI, because it's one of the cruelest jokes going... espaecially after they deduct medicare part b out of it. sonsofbitches I help out this one old immigrant lady from our church, who after working, shitty, minimum wage jobs for forty years and losing her husband and only daughter...she gets like $400 a month...which is a real kick in the she balls for her. And SSI is all...Well... we sure hope she likes the taste of PRIDE because she is going to have to swallow every ounce she ever had and go apply for food stamps!! Hahaha! NEXT!!!! |
